0 MORG Posted February 17, 2007 Definitely a spach and a nice one. I'm not sure, but the taller one doesn't really look Trich to me- uh I mean Echinopsis. Shit, I don't even know who's in that genus now.
0 Μορφέας Posted February 17, 2007 The nursery next to my house has the blue one like that, with furry spikes that is about 1 metre tall and has a price tag of $225.. Iv been thinking of getting it, Its so expensive I think, Is that expensive? Im new to the cacti scene
0 strangebrew Posted February 17, 2007 Yeah that's a rip off, they're trying it on. Pilosocereus are generally fast growing. The blue one that is sold most - Pilosocereus azureus(pachycladus) can apparently get to be a metre in 2/3 years after being purchased as a small plant. 0 gomaos Posted February 17, 2007 (edited) The blue one that is sold most yeah so it's not a peruvian, just a cereus... wasn't really sure from the pic, maybe should have enlarged it will do it now... The nursery next to my house has the blue one like that, with furry spikes that is about 1 metre tall and has a price tag of $225.. well trichocereus peruvianus are blue like that... had a close look at the enlarged pic and it's def not peruvianus... if anyone is after simple "sugar cactus" I have a monster growing in the ground at my place, will trade or give away whole chunks... but this one's "very" inactive sorry...
