Question

I have no idea how to post images here. I was able to post them in the gallery but don't know how to post them here. If someone can help that would be great. Anyway if you can be bothered to look in the gallery they are there to see. The Loph. will. was labelled as var. caespitosa any one heard of it ?

Welcome aboard deadman, but you will need to put the effort in. As soon as you make the pic easy for people to see, you'll get a positive ID within a day or so around here!

Click 'reply' and then click on the little picture of the tree above the box where you type your reply.

Go to the gallery in another window, click on your picture so you are looking at the big picture, not the thumbnail.

Now right click on the large picture and click 'view location'. Copy the URL, and Paste into the little box that comes up after clicking on the little tree picture I mentioned above.

Make sense? :)

Hi Deadman,

you can also try to rightclick the picture in the gallery, then choose properties. You can see the URL now which you can copy into your text. But i´d propose you´d first try benzitos instructions. Not sure if this is the official way :)

Hi,

i´m sure you´ll get used to the technical stuff soon. The Lophophora W. Caespitosa is a common clone. It grows very fast and gets new puppies very soon. A very good plant to start a collection. I´m sure it won´t be the last cactus you´ve bought! Have Fun! Bye Eg

edit: the second one looks like a peruvianus kk242. But there are specialists for the kk´s around; better wait for another comment.

Thanks Genius. The person that I bought it from suggested that I leave it in this small pot until it reaches the edges. Would this be good advise or should I pot-up into a slightly larger pot given that they have a large tap root?

This is the other one that I bought from the same place was labelled as a Trichocereus bridgesii, what do ya think?

Well, there seems to be no urgent need for repotting so i´d leave it there for a few more months. This way it can get used to it´s new home. But for cacti Repotting isn´t really problematic.

The Bridgesii is a monstrose penis clone. This bridgesii variant is very cool and is suited very well as a birthday present for girls too.

bye
