0 bit Posted December 3, 2006 I disagree.I reckon just another pach/peru/whatever hybrid. I concur. If the spines were shorter it'd be token pachanoi. Some sort of peruvianus/pachanoi hybrid. Regardless, it's a damn nice looking plant. I'm jealous! Never seen one over here!
0 Sebas Posted December 3, 2006 Thanks for the info thus far! Looks similar to one that was posted recnelty, umm, was it YT's morphing macro? Would you have a link to that thread Andy? I couldn't find it myself... Regardless, it's a damn nice looking plant. I'm jealous! Never seen one over here! The down-side of import/export regulations... 0 M S Smith Posted December 3, 2006 (edited) sebas, I would probably just call it a T. pachanoi that at this stage is expressing longer spines. Funny thing is about these plant is that they can change with age or growing conditions. Everyone would then say they were two different plants if they didn't know they were the same. I bet if it were grown under the right conditions it would turn out looking a lot like the T. pachanoi from Ecuador below. ~Michael~ Edited December 3, 2006 by M S Smith

0 Sebas Posted December 4, 2006 Could very well be MS. I bought it as a Pachanoi, from someone I would suspect to know his stuff... But indeed the spination made me wonder. Thanks for the reply!
