wandjina
heya guys, thought I'd share my latest work with you all...I posted already in creativity, but as theres more traffic here, and I need to do some market research....I'm doubling up. Hope that's OK.Again, some of the colours and definition has not been captured by the scanner, but I think it did a better job than the last one...still, fluoros just dont pop like they do in originals. Will remedy this when, and if, I produce prints.I'm in the process of brainstorming...and would like to ask how much would ppl think fair to pay for stuff like:high qual prints (approx A4 size),T-shirts, cards, stickers, calendars...tea towels? etc etc. Open to any and all ideas. ThanksAlso, there quite a few more pieces of new stuff in the gallery:http://www.shaman-australis.com/forum/inde...md=sc&cat=7Muchos gracias! naja naja
I really like the Boyds forest dragon and the butterfly one.I'd pay $15 for A4 size prints and maybe $50 for A3 or larger. I'd really love to buy an original though if ur ever selling some. $25-$30 for T-shirts (Aussie Gold is the best brand at a good price, get there better qual shirts as they have two qualities, very generous sizes. A large is actually large. $7 ea unprinted, good colours too.)Cards/stickers ~$5Calendar ~$25-$30T-towels $8 for lower quality, $15 if on Irish linnenJust a guess of wat I'd expect to pay.$300 - $2500 for an original depending on size, colour and context. I think $15 for an A4 print, more if you're getting super ritzy paper or cardstock.$25 - $30 for a T-shirt.I think posters would be cool too. Maybe $15-$20 for them. naja naja
Looks like a boyds forest dragon or a sothern angle headed dragon to me. Both native to NQLD. Now u said wat it is I can see it is a Basilisk, but they all look very alike, especially in such an abstract picture.Either way, they look awesome.Check out Phillippa Nikuliski's artwork. She's my favourite botanical artist. Local West Aussie from Esperance I think.
wandjina
Cool, thanks naja...i love stuff like this I've never heard of a boyds forest dragon..sounds much more exotic than a basilisk.Once I did this large banner, quite abstract, but basically a faces in faces in faces with lots of eyes.To my surprise there was another image in the painting I was not consciously aware of having painted....ovaries, womb, and a quite anatomically correct vagina!!! I honestly had no idea it was there amongst the other swirls and patterns etc.It never ceases to intrigue me to hear about what others see in my work, in any work of art...the variety of interpretation and perspective, perception and cognition. So interesting.I welcome and appreciate all feedback and opinion
