MORG
Just a tip for applying for government jobs. All the info for these:Knowledge and understanding of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Knowledge and understanding of Ethical Practice Knowledge and understanding of Ethnic Affairs Priorities Statement (EAPS) Knowledge and understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Can be found on Government job websites. Make sure you mention all that they do.And if you're going to apply for several Government jobs and are happy with your responses to these, then save your work. Every Government job application requires this and it's a pain in the arse rewriting it again and again. Just copy and paste.

-YT-
Definatly a kickass job for a planthead, best of luck to all who applied and are going for the job, just to let you know though Government based apprenticeships are quite rigourous in there applications which involves several interviews and written applications/tests including a meeting and approval by a Panel of suits. Alot of fucking around but well worth it if you get it. Edited November 9, 2006 by Young Tripper
spiders
You might find that your eligible for some sort of government payment if your a mature-aged entrant to an apprenticeship now days. ue to the skill shortage and all there is a program for this - howrads way of making up for poor leadership and foresight as always...As for govt jobs. I wouldnt be overly concerned about learning about those legislations. Most govt jobs at the entry level prefer you to be able to either demonstrate the ability to learn and develop under these guidelines or merely to acknowledge your basic understanding of what they mean:ie - OHS - if someone goes to plug something in with a power cord dipping in a pool of water, you should report it, or due to EO and sexual discrimination regulations its not cool to expose your penis to workmates - either flaccid or erect (i know, i have no idea why this is a problem either..) ;)
