Hiya folks, after waiting almost a year I'm finally on here haha. I'm on the Facebook group on occasions, but thought joining here would help expand to a different part of the community. Will try to keep up with participating here as much as I can, and will probably sell/trade the odd plant/seed here too. Looking forward to my future on here.

Hey everyone,I'm quite new here and I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. Firstly I'm really excited to be here and read all about the different types of plants and such*if that sounds casual it's because it is haha* lately I have been really getting into mycology, but once you see all the good that different types of mushroom and fungi can do for the human health, mentally and physically, It was hard not to look into all other types of natural medicine and just a general interest in ethnobotany and also the strong roots*sorry* that they have in our medical history as a human race. So once again very happy to be among such knowledgeable people that share the same interests and I hope that all of you have a great day, thanks for reading.

Hey guys! Kind members of SAB after what seemed like an eternity of waiting my membership is finally approved and I have to say, IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT. Honored to be here and blessed with the words read thus far. I just wanted to introduce myself before I started posting on this marvelous site. I have been bitten by what seems like a very real cacti bug as of the last year or so. My collection is very small and plain compared to what Ive seen here but Im learning every day, trying to expand my knowledge of these special species and crosses and named varieties from all over the world. I just wanted to say thanks for allowing me here and I look forward to reading learning and sharing with you guys and gals! Much love from the bluegrass state of Kentucky USA...thanks and I appreciate this so much = ) oi812many

Hi All, Happy to have found a site where I can converse with other Cactophiles. User name sums it up really. I've been growing for 21 years. I don't consume them I just love growing. I've grown some very nice specimens over the years. I inherited a specimen from my Grandfather which at best guess minimum 60 years old more likely 70+. I'll get some pics up soon. The old one looks terrible it doesn't seem amazing to me, it's not, but I've taken some nice cuttings from it over the years. Every season I seem to learn a little more, mostly from observation. However it's a painfully slow process. I have developed a great deal of Patience from growing. I've had multiple disasters over the years eg my cat using a pot, with 150 several week old babies it, as it's litter box. All dead could not save one, almost cried. I grow Trichos as well. I've not tried grafting yet so I've plenty more to learn. I'm at the stage where attempting grafting wont effect my numbers if I fuck it up. Looking forward to sharing my knowledge with anyone who is interested and learning more from you all. I'll post again soon Bye for now.
