the other day i notice this strange thing had popped up in one of my pots, initially i thought it was a mushroom, but upon closer inspection, its certainly not a mushroom.. it was quite difficult to get a quality photo, but there is strong really strange markings all over the browny piece, which must be the seed-shell. this is day or so later, after a little water, looking more normal, but still like nothing i have seen before the pot from which it sprouted was filled with Dalton's cutting mix, which is mostly pumice with some coco coir and sand, so maybe it was a stray seed in the mix, i havent sown any seeds into this pot and was frankly quite suprised to see it there are this pot has been kept dry over winter. any thoughts or suggestions most welcome
