Hey Guys, I would like to obtain a Barbados Gooseberry (Pereskia Aculeata) cactus, is there anyone in Australia or preferably WA who would be willing to sell me either seeds or cuttings of this plant? The plant is not considered a pest in WA so I don't understand why it is so difficult to obtain here. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey everyone, fairly new hear and just coming up to a year collecting trichos. Just wanting to know if there are many other members here in Tasmania with them? I'd love to buy some seedlings/cuts/rooted plants if possible. I don't really have anything ready for trade yet but have just sown about 1500 seeds and over 40 different hybrids so will have plenty in the near future . Any help would be much appreciated!

Hey folks, I bought this cactus a while ago from a private seller but at the time I didn't think to ask where it was sourced. Looking for any advice to see if it's an active species. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Some measurements I've taken to help ID: areoles: 3cm apart, prominent V shaped ridge above each, 3-7 spines in each. spines: base yellow-green and tips reddish brown when young, up to 4cm long body: 5-7 ribs

Hey guys, The temps in my fridge fell to subzero (furits, veggies and eggs froze) because of my flatmate messing with the settings. I had some hundreds of trichocereus pachanoi, bridgesii and peruvianus seeds in ziplocks in a big jar. I am really worried that the seeds might outright die. I had a few packs from SAB and Herbalistics and don't know how dessicated they were. Just put them straight into the fridge at the beginning of the summer when the temps were above zero. Do you have experience with freezing and germinating trichocereus seeds, and if you do does that impact seed viability. I checked the forums and also other websites but no one gives a straight answer. I saw in an earlier post that nitrogen might be freezing some of his crosses but I could not tell if that was pollen or seed. All the best

Hey all! I'm moving from NSW to the ACT and of course im taking my cacti seedlings with me. The room they are moving to is south facing and they have access to sun all day (They are currently taking off in a surprisingly shady part of the garden) Any tips to help the little guys take off in the new climate indoors? Most of them are still in take away boxes and doing better than ever a few monstrose too :D Thanks so much - you may have just saved 400 cacti
