    Electroculture

If I didn't know any better I'd say you read my mind I think this effect could be BIG news for all things Salvia, considering the mysteries surrounding Salvia Divinorum's history. It may also make the seeds more viable. When I can reliably get results I will try sprout the remaining Calea that I have as I know from personal experience they can be a pain to germinate. Out of the 25 I've planted 2 have germinated, it'll be good to see if electroculture can improve this number. I am also imagining that you could use an electrostatic analog to a permanent magnet called an electret for the field. This would make it cheaper and more accessible. Thing is that you can't just go down the street and buy an electret at the moment because conventional wisdom says they have no value, we'll see if anything I find indicates otherwise.

Biggest full moon in 18 years :o

That's interesting because a family friend who is a police officer up QLD said the same thing and that on a full moon is when the 'weirder' crimes are committed. Another interesting thing about a full moon which some of you might have recognised is that apparently psychedelics are much more intense on a full moon or at least that is the general consensus amungst my friends..Guess I'll have to take their word for it as I wouldn't know

    Studies on Ayahuasca

Hello all, I was browsing the interwebs and I found something which you might all enjoy. It is a issue of Anthropology of Consciousness dedicated entirely to Ayahuasca research and best of all you can view them all for free. But remember folks, DMT is as bad as heroine mmmkay. Here is a list of the publications; Special Ayahuasca Issue Introduction: Toward a Multidisciplinary Approach to Ayahuasca Studies (pages 1–5) Working with “La Medicina”: Elements of Healing in Contemporary Ayahuasca Rituals (pages 6–27) Healing with Plant Intelligence: A Report from Ayahuasca (pages 28–43) Ayahuasca as Antidepressant? Psychedelics and Styles of Reasoning in Psychiatry (pages 44–59) The Creative Cycle Processes Model of Spontaneous Imagery Narratives Applied to the Ayahuasca Shamanic Journey (pages 60–86) Ayahuasca Religions in Acre: Cultural Heritage in the Brazilian Borderlands (pages 87–102) Personal Report: Significance of Community in an Ayahuasca Jungle Dieta (pages 103–109) And here is where you can find them: http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/anoc.2012.23.issue-1/issuetoc Peace!

    Police warn of drug's dangers

This is exactly what I was thinking. I must say though even to the 'uninitiated' 6g is hardly a drug lab but still most people buy into everything they read *facepalm*

SAVE THE BEES (NO BEES=NO LIFE)

This sort of stuff boil my blood, when will the world fight back against the disease. It'll need to be before the Earth fights back against its disease, also known taxonomically as Homo Sapien which generally have an obession with their reflection and material possessions. My signature is theirs..

  12. One skill I wish to work on is my ability to identify acacias and so I thought I would take a very breif walk through the bush on the way to a friends house and see if I could ID any of the acacias I found. This is my first ever time at IDing so I could be right off. Most the ones I photographed were ones I thought were active. I am not interested in extracting any of the alkoloids this is purely for ID, plus all the specimens I found were too small to take enough to extract from imo anyway. Specimen 1 - Acacia Floribunda? http://img843.imageshack.us/img843/8431/acacia11.jpg http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/8236/acacia12.jpg I thought this one was acacia floribunda due to the elongated leaves and the 3 veins in the leaves. The last two photos are a close up of a small branch I snapped off. This tree was not flowering as is expected with Floribunda this time of year. Specimen 2 - Acacia ? http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/6084/acacia21.jpg http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/2554/acacia24.jpg http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/3525/acacia23.jpg At first I thought this was Longifolia but I am not so sure after thinking about it. This one is about to flower. One thing that makes me not sure is it looks like it will flower in a ball shape rather than the rod shape which I don't believe Longifolia do. Specimen 3 - Acacia Longifolia? http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/1857/acacia31.jpg http://img803.imageshack.us/img803/1117/acacia32.jpg This one I believe maybe longifolia, it has the rod flowering shape (atleast I think it does, remember I am completely new to this). Specimen 4 - Acacia ? http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/1444/acacia41.jpg http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/6929/acacia42.jpg I believe this is the same acacia as 2 - same flower shape, same phyllode colour and shape. Specimen 5 - Acacia Floribunda? http://img560.imageshack.us/img560/9300/acacia51.jpg http://img600.imageshack.us/img600/383/acacia52.jpg Has 3 main veins and the phyllodes are fairly elongated and not flowering. The phyllodes are a little obtuse so it could be obtusifolia too? Specimen 6 - Acacia Obtusifolia? http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/3944/acacia61.jpg http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/7059/acacia62.jpg It was the redish colour in the stem which made me think obtusifolia because I have seen an obtusifolia before and it had the same red. Not sure if the red was on the leaves or the stem though. Specimen 7 - Acacia ? http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/7215/acacia71.jpg http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/3016/acacia72.jpg I thought perhaps Floribunda but now that I look at the photos and noticed the circlular flowers starting which is not consistent with what I know about Floribunda so now I'm not sure. I had fun looking around in my 15 minute walk in the bush, something I plan on doing more often for longer. Peace.

    First steps in Acacia IDing

I'm on the coast Les I just had a look at some Acacia Falcata pictures and that's definitely what 2 and 4 are imo. Thanks for your help on the ID of number 7 bulls. After having a look at some melanoxylon information it seemed to match the plant pretty well. The plant was quite young, I'm not sure if it would be old enough to flower yet so maybe #1 is infact a melanoxylon. Thank you both for your help.

I'd love to see this garden I've heard so many wonderful things about. Let's hope the subs come to party sometime soon then
  15. I will goto any debate to fight for my right to practice my spiritual practice. Qualia, I also noticed that there is no talk about action just yet only debate but I feel the debate has to take place before action will be effective. As is pointed out in that article - politicians see drug decriminalization as career suicide. At least if a debate takes place and the media doesn't skew the results the politicians may see it as the only way forward, one can only hope right?

hearing sexual news about your friend

Defintely take it with a grain of salt. I had an psycho ex-girlfriend who spoke shit about me, funny thing was that I didn't care and no body believed the shit she spoke. Then again someone who says they got raped by some guy on a monthly basis, get's accused of lying about it and changes her story to a pre-school teacher isn't full of brains in the first place, not to mention the time she said she had a miscarrige in my toilet and said they wanted to name it after my mother..Yes I have had some fucked up girlfriends haha

    free sex for the disabled

I agree with you all that believe prostitution should be decriminalized to keep all involved parties as safe as possible. It's a great idea to give physically disabled people a chance to get laid, it's a human right. Intellectually disabled people is a slightly different situation. Applesnail, I think you should be a little less harsh on disabled people when saying how frequently they are involved in sexual assault. How would you feel if you were never able to satisfy sexual needs? It would eventually take a toll on your psyche. Why do you think so many priest molester young kids? I might or might not step on a few toes here but I personally believe it is because the church controls their sexuality and stops them partaking in their basic human instinct, and they say they worship their creator *facepalm*. I'm not saying that it's not the priests fault but they are conditioned to act in that way through their religion clashing with human needs. So in the same way handicapped people are conditioned to act in those ways, yes it is inappropriate, yes it can have a huge effect on the people who deal with them but a little understanding would go a long way. Mentally handicapped citizens is a pretty spot on description of most current politicians world wide so what's the difference?
