Bongchitis, you work at an un-named multinational manufacturing plant. I can't quite remember what your undergrad degree was in but I know that your thesis was on on-site waste treatment systems. I have also been going through your rubbish bin and smelling your used underwear when you are at work.

Viagra sold over counter in UK on Valentine's Day
oxydiser replied to Conan Troutman's topic in Chill Space
I personally see this as a good thing. Pharmacists in the UK can actually "prescribe" a small range of Prescription/S4 medications (with proper history taking/counselling of course). Pharmacists are medication experts and are probably more qualified than a GP to pick up drug-drug and drug-disease interactions. I'm all for pharmacist prescribing, though I'm strongly biased... and the price isn't that different from that in Australia, with 4 x 100mg viagra going for ~$80. -
Yo Fenris, I get these grubs all the time in my khat and brugmansia pots which are huge pots, this might be a perf thing. They seem to like the organic layer at the top of the pot which forms after the bigger woodchip chunks settle out... I've never found them more than ~5cm deep. I let a few pupae hatch in an overturned pot. My grubs turned into white-grayish moths. Good ant/bird fodder, but I don't think they are doing any harm as the khat and brug are kicking ass!

IMO these are all well known side effects of stilnox, the drug has been out for some while in the US. If it really was "incredibly dangerous" it would be pulled from the market. I'm not tring to stick up for this drug, I'm just acutely aware of scare-mongering. The problem with stilnox (zolpidem) is that it's halflife is only 3-4 hours so you are liable to wake up in the middle of the night and wig out. I struggle to see why it is used in place of short acting benzos (temazepam esp.) which have favourable side effect profile and similar dependence liability. FYI, no hypnotic drug should be used for longer than ~2 weeks for insomnia, due to aforementioned dependence and tolerance EDIT: beat me to it twix, hear hear.

You know what fucking shits me off? It's fuckos that keep on wanking on about TOOL. If there is any band in the history of mankind that fuckos have been wanking on about, TOOL would have to win hands down. I am so fucking sick of people spurting verbal diarrhoea about how deep their lyrics are and how the rhythm progression in this or that song is genius. STFU!!! If they were that fucking good they would be a mainstream band and not just wanked over by a minority who like them just because they are desperately trying to be an individual. Their music sounds like a cat being slaughtered. I have also noticed that TOOL fans are of below average attractiveness. WHO'S A BIGGER TOOL FAN?!?!?! COMPARING TOOL TO FUCKING JESUS OR GOD?!?!?!* GRAB A LIFE and grow some gonads* If it wasn't completely obvious from the above I don't even like TOOL. This wanker band is the sole reason I AM NOT going to the BDO this year. And I really wanted to see My Chemical Romance* too... now that is a quality outfit *not intended to offend anyone

As promised, a new competition to pass on the good will from all competition runners (especially strangebrew and apothecary ). A game of skill and a game of luck (well, mostly luck). The name of the game is to guess the number of tips in my cacti collection, which is having it's second birthday in February. The winner is the person who correctly guesses the number or the closest guess under the true number ala the price is right. (Sorry about the image size but it helps with the guessing) As you can see, I have a weakness for the cacti... a wildcard is the lophophora caespitosa on the front of the bbq. Don't forget the cacti under the stand to the left of the bbq as well! The prize is a ~25cm cut of this seed grown peruvianus. For example, this bad boy has four tips Only one post per person and one guess per post - to appear as the first item in your post. Example: Double posters/double guessers will be disqualified. Competition only open to Australian residents. Competition closes at this timestamp on Boxing Day 26th December. Final number determined by yours truly. BTW, I have no idea of the number, the count will occur after the competition closes Good luck all!

Luverly specimens Fenris, where did you source the multi-tipped bridgesii from? (pic 1 & 2)
-
...the final number at 157 makes ballzac the winner! PM me to come on down and receive your prize!!

Competition closed, I'll do the count tomorrow morning and announce the winner

FWIW, I had a narrow leaf khat that hated the high% perlite/potting mix I had it in. It slowly died on me ~4 months after I potted in up in this mix. Got another one a few weeks ago ( planthelper) and it is kicking ass in a big pot with Thrive premium potting mix (best goddamn potting mix) cut with Debco cacti and succulent mix (best goddamn cacti mix). If there is one thing I have consistently experienced over my two years in this game, it is that you get what you pay for in potting mix and it makes a world of difference.
-
Yeah, I have seen this done twice, in a photo and in real life. Door hinge? hehe, any Curse of Monkey Island fans out there?
-
Amen. I've gone through ~10 different potting mixes and I have to say this yates mix owns over all others I have tried. Retains it's structure over time in pots as well (not like others that compact and start to repel water), cacti love the stuff and stay outdoors all year with nay problems (in Perf anyway). BTW, I am not a sales rep for Yates, but this stuff kicks ass

You are not alone on that one ballzac, there are too many nerves up in the nose for this not to be a sexual organ. The gf doesn't like to do it that often (and never in public... what a prude! ) and fails to derive any pleasure from it herself. Lignocaine is injected with adrenaline and the flush is a common side effect if the dentist gets a blood vessel, difficult to avoid in the mouth but can be dangerous if enough lignocaine gets into circulation. I would get a new dentist if this has happened more than once
-
put my name in the hat please PD, I've got this theory about lightning I want to prove. If I end up with it, pull out another name cos all I would want is a lil chunk of your sexy cut

You purporsely smelt your own farts? What a sicko ...so what did your farts smell like, I'm curious    Kava doesn't work on some people, me being one of those people

I doubt that stilnox will ever get banned. Rohypnol was changed to an authority S8 drug because it was being diverted from pharmacies, it had limited therapeutic uses (over the other benzos) and mainly because it had become synonymous with the date rape scene. Though both are addictive (zolpidem is supposed to be less addictive - but tell that to the power-business women that come in with scripts for 6 boxes at a time!)

YeeeHAAAW! Thanks so much strangebrew, what a kickass start to the end of exams!
