Source: http://www.abc.net.au/news/2012-07-30/police-blast-drug-culture-after-festival-finds/4164124 Police say the drug culture at Australian music festivals is getting worse, after a crack-down at the Splendour in the Grass event over the weekend. More than 400 people were found with drugs including amphetamines, cocaine and ecstasy at Byron Bay, on the New South Wales north coast. About 20,000 revellers were at the festival between Thursday and Sunday. Officers searched 730 people and 30 vehicles during the operation, which also employed detection dogs. They say they found 421 people with drugs, including six juveniles who will be dealt with under the Young Offenders Act. Superintendent Stuart Wilkins says it is a major increase compared to recent festivals. He says the message about illegal drugs is not getting across. "Clearly there were people under the influence of drugs," he said. "It is a culture, there's no question about it. The way forward I'm not sure, but whilst ever people take illicit drugs and posses illicit drugs, we have an obligation to respond to that." Police also criticised the number of very drunk people at the festival, including one woman who elbowed a female officer in the face.

How much CO2 that's not attributed to humans goes into the atmosphere every year, just to see if the 21 trillion is even statistically relevant? Do human being have cyanide as part of their systems already? They don't have depleted uranium. Perhaps a tax on that?
-
(Source: http://www.zerohedge...-start-argument ) (Source: http://en.wikipedia....sphere_of_Earth ) so that's... 21 Trillion pounds of CO2 that humans sent into 11 350 000 Trillion A circular swimming pool 3.40m in diameter and 1.25m deep = 11 349.400 litres (Source: http://www.poolandsp....uk/volcalc.htm ) So how much fluid would I have to add to this pool to get this 21 Trillion into perspective? 0.021 Litres (an aussie shot glass is 0.030 l) into 11 349.400 Litres Isn't CO2 heavier than air? So you would have to pour the shot glass worth of plant nutrient/greenhouse gas onto the bottom of the pool. And then what happens? (I ain't no scientist or math genius. Might be worth checking the numbers yourself)

http://www.news.com....i-1226389133787 A shoplifter arrested at a St. Louis Walmart store Thursday was a carrying more than a few stolen goodies - she was lugging a portable meth lab. The alarming discovery sparked an evacuation of the outlet, in the south of the Missouri city, the St Louis Post-Dispatch reported. There were "hundreds" of people inside at the time - about 6:15pm - according to KTVI-TV. A police spokesman said two people had been arrested and that a shoplifter, who was in custody, was carrying an "active meth lab." The drug-making devices are unstable and can explode. According to Patch.com, the woman carrying the "shake and bake" lab was a 32-year-old from St. Louis' southern outskirts; more meth-making materials were discovered in her car, the Post-Dispatch said...

Wind Power Without the Blades: Big Pics

I vaguely remember something about a system that used focused heat from the sun to break down ammonia into hydrogen and nitrogen and using that process to create a fuel source. It was over a decade ago. I think it was at RMIT but I suspect it was bought by an oil company. -
"Giant squid and some other large squid species maintain neutral buoyancy in seawater through an ammonium chloride solution which flows throughout their bodies and is lighter than seawater." - wiki om nom nom????? I guess there is no accounting for taste

If you want to be environmentally responsible, you would use NOS, not air in the scuba bottle coz there is already too much air and more would make the ozone layer fall off (science already done. Questioning would only make you look like a commie or something). F-14's ain't small compared to F-18's. F-111's rawk! Fit an F-111 to your bike Niggles. Decibels as well as speed advantage ;)

I don't feel so bad about Incognito's canine caninechioces now.

I was really hoping we would get around to that game of NOS chicken one day. You left too soon. Peace and Love to you DC

Shaman As a Native American Indian (Blackfoot), I have a perception of life and death including ways of living and ways of dying. Also, however in between the space of birth and death there are ways of things... I have come across many in the Rainbow who claim to be Shaman. In a world so full of people it would be no suprise to me for there to be many Shaman, but I do find the quantity of persons claiming to be Shaman in the Rainbow to be suspect. I have witnessed some alleged (self proclaimed) Shaman doing things such as lying and stealing from good people (as if it makes a difference). I have seen worthless hocus pocus medicines supposedly extracted from the herbs and healing roots supplied by Mother Earth, however, these methods did not work. Why? I know why, does the self proclaimed Shaman know why? We have heard the white mans words of warning not to be mislead by false prophets. Can these Shaman see the spirit world? Can they control natural events? Do they have the ability to heal through faith alone...I suspect not. Reading a lot of books, listening to old wives tales, and watching TV does not make one a Shaman. For instance, I have died and returned to life when I was shot back in 1991. While I was "dead" I did see things that I cannot explain. Does this make me a Shaman? I have visions and have had visions for over 30 years. All of my visions have come to pass with the exclusion of one involving a Rainbow Warrior in KC Missouri. Does this make me a prophet? I am not saying that I am, or am not Shaman. I am saying there are those who want to be, who proclaim to be but simply are not! And for these ones who are not valid in the realm of Shamanism to stand up and proclaim to be, is a danger to any soul who listens to their babble. Granted there are Shaman and you know who you are. Ho! I guess what I am saying is, that a great injustice is served when a phony gives advice. The direction the listener may be, and probably is being sent, could very well be in the wrong direction. I know that being important, and being known for your deeds is important, but make sure that your claims are justifiable, because delusions of grandeur cannot only deceive and hurt, but also can leave ones spirit lost and unretrievable. THE Geelong teacher on leave after filming an online pornographic movie with a former student is selling sex herbs and legal "smoking alternatives" in the city's main street. The man and his 23-year-old former student, who is now his live-in girlfriend, opened a shop called Happy High Herbs three weeks ago, with a brochure promoting "horny herbs" and "smoke for relaxation".
