    talking with god

I think the best way to talk with god is thru suffering, when one suffers in torment and pain with such profound anguish and agony then the deepest part of there soul will open up, and even the atheist will beg & pray to god for it to stop! I found my own personal version of god from pain, sacrifice and loss of blood, moreso then any psychedelic mindtrip, although these mindtrips have set the ethereal landscape for the chartered regions of where the soul may finally have its final domain!

The 1st casesp for 300 in mention was sharxx BTW,you may wanna check the $ he is asking for it, no one ups or others offers in mention in my post! That is if was refering to my DIS & thoughts in my prior post! Tee Hee, And its beyond me why someone would post cacti for sale that arn't really for sale in someone elses thread with cacti that are actually for sale but only if the other person with cacti for sale actually sell his cacti, then there cacti will be for sale, is beyond me! Other then to show off how pretty they are, whats with the cacti porn is it only out to impress?? Ditto!

    Loph wiliamsii sale

My thoughts on this shit, i sent a pm the otherday interested in 1st caesp, but then wrote apology saying i couldnt afford as the missus thinks i got enough dumbass cacti(as she calls em!) and she dont see the point on spending 300 magooneys of hard earned jinka on a cacti and then zelly posts more shit for sale and from my perspective you have hijacked this thread by posting bigger specimens @ cheaper prices, and talk bout integrity, this just fks with ppls heads man, ppl obiviously wanna part with there cash in the best damn way possible, i can buy alot more pussy or beer with a pocketful of cash then a loph, whether you are trading mates or not at the end of the day, there either for sale not? but i think its rude to post other shit for sale when someone else already has their shit for sale first(atleast have the courtesty to start yr own thread!),aint no fkin game from my perspective the customer is always right when it comes to dealings or what not or they just take their hard earned jinka elsewhere after all its there hard earned and they decide when & where they wanna spend it!I hope this is blunt but hasnt flamed to hard!

    lophophora advice?

Have a read up below some good info on caci there, lophs are pretty tough they will heal by them selfs with skin damage etc most of the time, the less use of fungicides etc the better, we all know the obivious reasons why insecticides and fungicides are bad...They can contain carcinogens and take out beneficials, the build up of resistance by the pathogen to the fungicide used etc! http://www.kadasgarden.com/CLophophora.html

    Behold the Mother Lophs!!!

Spider mites can still attack an older specimen also(although this may be an indoor thing!). I got a caespitosa that has a fair age to it,and i grow it under lights now, and it occasionally when humidity levels drop etc, has undergone infestations of these little buggers in a nite or so,they spread very quickly, when dealing with mature specimens like this it pays to always be on guard, as like others have suggested mealy bug etc can reek havoc in minimal time and destroy them.I find caespitosa is a more vulnerible variety to sunburn also, I got a la pal, hui, montec etc that can have full sun all day they love it,provide it doesnt get to extreme, where the caesp i have only likes minimal amounts and seems to go a little soft from sun, hence why i took it indoors under artificial light. I alternate between a nice blue 14000K 250W CFL fluoro and 250W HPS a cple weeks @ atime, and they seem happier under them, then outside with the unpredicable victorian four seasons in one day scenario head stress of a weather. But like all indoor cultivation, pests will creep in uninvitated and rapidly attack, I have become very diligent in bug and pest prevention on all my plants ,and being in victoria the longer a loph goes without water the better(ive found they can go weeks without water in my climate even when its hot),as im quite unlucky i will have a few super hot days in summer & all my cacti are dry so i water them and then it rains for like 3 weeks straight, and during this time while there roots are wet, i think endlessly about them contracting and falling victim to rot or fungal attack.. Also from my experiance with root rot it will rot the plant from the inside out, although ive never let a loph rot from the roots, so i cant diagnose how that will work, i had some mammillarias i neglected and they looked like they were growing fine untill i poked em and they punctured and were rotting from the inside out and i assume this came from the roots as they were rotting away with some kinda fungal necrotism of the root system of some kind that i assume was from being overwatered, much like bud rot that attacks other forms of plant life that a mexican neighbour once dreamed about growing when he was was living in a humid jamaicaiin bob marley dream!

Cannabis use 'raises psychosis risk' - study

These reports suck! One person can smoke the shit all there life with no probs, whos not to say the case studys, are not inherently prone to neuropsychological vulnerible problems in the first place...Just another diagnostic publication in the war against cannabis, hell a person can have psychosis issues just from watching the 6pm news with all shit the government & media does to subliminally mindscrew us and brainwash us in to believing! Many more problems and addictions etc occur from clinically prescribed pharmaceuticals, ive met more people with screwed up life issues from anti depressants etc in my life, then psychotic nutters with self induced schizophrenia from pot!Unfortunately i base my pessimistic views on actual life base occurances, not publications from psychiatrists who have had little life experience then a university degree and are preconditionally educated to individually treat people like lab rats for some kinda professional recognition. Throughout the whole history & profession of psychiatry they have tried to label and diagnose ppl with there theorys & diagnoses, We never hear or read of them diagnosing mother nature as a schizophrenic and her moods and appearances change daily and the chemical processes and collisions of galaxys that take place & occur in her universe are probably much more of a representation of mother natures psychosis, then to individually find some kinda scientific proof to condemn a plant that exists in nature, whos not to say were not all meant to be somewhat inherently & genetically crazed, i once read somewhere that most geniuses actually encounter madness to find there enlightenment, but i guess thats just another theory and just my thoughts on this article!

    Behold the Mother Lophs!!!

Id check em for spider mite also, my caespitosas are very prone to them little buggers attacking them and you usually dont notice the little buggers till the damage is done, id be drying that root system also, dig him up and let roots dry, just incase there is a rotting root that can devastate a loph.....thats a nice specimen BTW.....

    safe psychotria shipping question

live fish go well in the mail,(totally off the topic) i get imported bettas they fly from thailand to qld then get platinum aussie post delivery down to vic,(as im out of the fastway courier service)if a live fish can survive then a plant can, theres always customs issues, delays that can be over extended & unexpected, that can result in our little friend dying from lack of oxygen/rough handling, and my assumption is if a plant looks sick then customs will ditch it, my personal opinion of psychotria plants are there temperamental little buggers, ive managed to kill afew in victoria ,either to hot for em with a dry hot wind or the night temp drops to much for em, and they go sickly overnight,(ive had more survival success with my transit fishys)ive now resorted to keepin em inside under a blue/red LED which ive found looks after em well,i think you want a fairly strong HEALTHY established cutting to go the days in transit, as for some reason psychotria grows terribly slow for me and takes awhile to recover from any stress...this plant somewhat hates me or my climate!

    why to bottom water lophophora?

presumably one waters from the bottom to stimulate root development, which could be handy for seedling development.. its also alot more convenient(if growing on a commercial scale) for a large amount of plants in a flood and drain apparatus, just flood the tray & there all done in one hit..
