Ridiculous that my pc died? ha ha he he hee. Excuse me torsten but where the fuck do you get off? Lets get a few facts straight, i was moving the forum to a new server,i fail to see how anyone "assisting" could of helped. I will not give root access to any of my servers to anyone but myself nor would i expect anyone to give it to me. I host other websites on my server and im sure my clients would not be impressed if i gave out that access to other people. How many other people in this community have admin access (cpanel or root) to your forum Torsten? Your telling the story so list em. How could a person setup the new webserver for me? The databases.. the imports.. the exporting.. The installation itself seeing as the forum was all custom done by myself? It wasnt some fucken point n click excersice. Because you pay for techs to do your stuff for you, i really fail to see how u can comprehend what is involved, sorta like a mechanic telling a nurse how to do their job aye. Fuck hypocrisy shits me to tears. That said, i can really see how this community works now, its been a eye opener but better now than later. Dont need to worry about big brother elsewhere, we got our own. I have a nice new powerbook laptop now but i wont be fixing EBA, nor will anybody be getting their hands on the countless hours of work i did. Quite frankly why should they? I am over all this crap and i wont be returning, for me time is a valuable thing and i choose not to waste anymore with this "community". Addios

Hi EBA was being moved to a new server, everything was going well until my computer shit itself. Cant do much until i repair it so its just gonna have to wait, sorry everyone.

Hosting company had technical issues, it affected all sites hosted and not just eba. Issue has been fixed and site is up again.

A crew of us mostly myself, gomaos, hebew, smogs, creach and planthelper battled for a long time to keep that place going and if we didnt i doubt it would of been around in 2005, the previous admin eccles had all the permissions to do stuff and he didnt he just didnt give a shit about the site, i had limited privledges on the original site and used my technical skills and over 150hours and $200 out of my own time and pocket to get the eba database working elsewhere not for any money reward or what not just so people could have the site back, Reonstructing a 80mb sql database from hand is not for the light hearted. So if thats: quote "no firm commitment made to it by the people behind it." well what what the hell is? Until you actually contribute something positive and usefull other than spam keep your unfounded statements to yourself.

EBA wont be returning. It doesnt warrant my time and effort anymore. I spent alot of time and $ setting it up but it was hardly used by anyone in the 4-5 months it was around so ive decided not to continue with the running of it.

lol my pc power supply runs @ 850w, and your worried about a 400w or 600w? if u had like 10x 1000w's going then that would be suspicious. otherwise how can it be suss? Air con is another example, the average one is rated at about 2000w.. 2kw.. in my coral reef fish tanks i use 2x150w mh in each fish tank for the corals so theres about 600w of power just for 2 tanks. I could think of hundreds of other examples .. 400w or 600w is nothing... why be so paranoid?

i think you should either re look at the diagram or learn how to read them, there is something connected thats what the dot is doing. And dont say the dot is a crossover or anything its clear the diagram is using modern schematics so the dots on each of the components is doing what? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circuit_diagram#Symbols look at 5a 5b in the diagram.

The circled letters usually mean a meter of some sort. ie circled V for voltmeter, A for Ammeter etc. I cant remember what I and D are. D i think was dielectric displacement. C cap.. A amps, V volts.. R resitance, etc
