Not avocado or mango. They started from relatively small seeds in a pretty close proximity to each other. I was thinking either rambutan or a theobroma sp but as they got older they started looking different and were unaffected by the cold and dry. Maybe when that new leaf opens it might look a bit more like a theobroma (I've had seeds for quite a few types). I'll post one out to whoever guesses it and wants one. Totally stumped

Don't let the Internet stress you over it. They aren't hard at all to grow in the subtropics. They die back in the dry season in the wild so they don't mind a winter dormancy. I'd give it a go if I were you... I did

I had a few young O. Ficus-indica plants, of which only one survived the breakdown of a relationship. Is it able to pollinate itself? If not, is it able to be pollinated by other opuntia species? If not, does anyone want to trade me for a pad?
