Yeah I love this one too! Along side Atherospermum, they're my favourite natives.

Go to Eden in Carseldine. They have a charity bin for empty pots. I'm giving mine to them if no one takes them from here.
-
I wish the people who liked this post would also have liked to take some pots.

Bad news about KTBotanicals and Kiwiboancaya
hypnotoad replied to mindperformer's topic in Ethnobotany
Kiwiboancaya's packaging is very primative. Wet paper towel wrapped in foil. Every seed I've gotten from them has been completely consumed by mold by the time I got it. -
I like your cassava. I've never had any luck growing it.

So keen for some saguaro!

Any chance of a trade prioritise?

I'd love one of these too! I asked http://kiwiboancaya.net/ if they could get any seed for it and they never replied.

http://www.bugsforbugs.com.au/ You can buy predatory insects from this website. You could maybe ask them how they breed them, they might not tell you though. I bought some native ladybugs from them a few years ago and now my yard swarms with them.

Still Can't Believe I Found This at Bunnings
hypnotoad replied to Getafix's topic in Cacti & Succulents
Nice cacti! I've gotten some pretty good ones from bunnings too over the years. You have the most amazing looking yard. -

Little does she know, her entire litter will grow up being morbid joyweed addicts who are unable to integrate into society. I knew someone who knew someone that smoked shard while pregnant and their kid was born with all of it's guts on the outside of it's body.

Tabernaemontana undulata : bechette ... Grow log.
hypnotoad replied to space cadet swami's topic in Ethnobotany
These were both grown from cuttings. I had another 2 that I've since given away. I had 4 successful out of maybe 9 cuttings? -

Does anyone know the (aproximate) lifespan of the following plants?
hypnotoad replied to The Resistance's topic in Ethnobotany
Only one way to find out, right? But seriously, no, if I really were starting a putsch, challenging anonymous people over the internet (especially on a botanical forum) wouldn't be on my list of 'things to do'. And I have no desire to be the leader of anything, I'd rather be at home in the garden. -

hypnotoad replied to The Resistance's topic in Ethnobotany
I had always imagined myself being the leader of the new free world I have to challenge you to a dual now, to decide who is alpha dog. Sorry brother, you're probably a nice guy and all but this is how it works. Democracy and capitalism have taught me so. Please PM your name and details and I'll be over quite shortly to deliver your fatal beating. edit: your large list of interests doesn't scare me -

Most rainforest trees will outlive you, and probably your kids too. -
I'll give you a vat of premium urine for $25, I don't eat meat or junk food, so it's probably quality stuff. The cost of posting large amounts of liquid is always pretty high though.

I've put it in a mix of 3/4 peat, 1/4 vermiculite and sugarcane mulch. Gave it a spray with seasol and put it in a bucket with a plastic bag over it.
