Parking in East Perth is horrible though and if there is parking available I bet it aint cheap. Having to park further away whilst bringing plants might be a bitch too. Woodville Reserve in North Perth is a good park. It has parking and it's also a very short walk to the Rosemount Hotel for booze. Across from that are pizza, kebab and Subway joints as well as Coles so if you're hungry then you need not go far. Fitzgerald Street is a main road too so there are lots of bus services which makes things a lot easier for those without a car. The coordinates are: -31.92707,115.858372 Thoughts?

Laminar flow hood and 40qt All American PC for sale
migraineur replied to omsource's topic in Seed & Plant Swaps
Yeah, I understand the potential problems. Was shipping not so problematic when you bought it because it came in separate pieces which required some basic construction on arrival? Also, how much did the shipping on the flow hood from the USA to AUS cost you? -
Laminar flow hood and 40qt All American PC for sale

How fragile is the flow hood? If it came from Fungi Perfecti in the USA then I'm inclined to believe it could handle being shipped interstate if the buyer arranged that. Could you please tell me about the power connection? If it came from the USA then I assume it would've needed changes made. -
Dear cactus experts What methods do you use to prevent your cactus seedlings dying from fungus? I have successfully grown cacti from seed but I've also lost many to damp off. Do you experience the same problem?

It's all about a misting system. Bunnings sells kits or you can buy the individual parts and make your own custom one.
-
You can buy little bags of desiccant in bulk amounts on Ebay. They're great.

Hi My psychotria carthagenensis appears to be producing berries. Are these worth keeping and planting? I vaguely remember something about germination rates being really poor so I am unsure. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks. I'm going to have to try a version that has cooked tomatoes because I'm allergic to raw tomatoes -
Has anyone here grown iboga from cuttings? If so then what method did you use and what tips do you have?

Do you have any tips for planting the seeds? Do I need to do anything special to the berries etc? -

Are P. Carthagenensis Berries Worth Keeping?
migraineur replied to migraineur's topic in Ethnobotany
Yeah, I was thinking that I should at least give it a go so I can increase genetic diversity. -

I agree with madhouses visites. It looks like a bird's eye chilli. Very tasty and very spicy. -
Console gaming has the benefit of being so easy to setup and they act as media players which is handy. It also makes multiplayer setups easy when you've got some friends over. The PS4 controllers have built in headphone jackets too so you can plug headphones into them. I used to be a big PC gamer but using a PS4 makes it easy for my girlfriend to join me too.

If you're not traveling with it then why not build your own? It'll be cheaper and you can build a beast! You can use a laptop as a desktop replacement but you won't get as much power of your machine and it'll be harder and more expensive to upgrade in the future.

The only plant I have that struggles without humidity is p. viridis. Everything else I've had no problems hardening off.
-
Mine does quite well as a house plant in a low humidity environment. I imagine it would struggle in Winter here if I put it outside. Since it has nice shiny leaves then it makes an attractive house plant too.

Hey yo Can anyone tell me if mimosa hostilis is self fertile?
-
So, who's coming to this? Also, is anyone interested in any plants? I might have some to spare. If anyone else has any that they want to sell/trade then let me know what you've got.
-
Yeah, I really want to make it since I also have trades. Organising it on the 3rd of November will make baby Jesus cry.
-
Nooooo! I've got something on that day! How about the weekend after?
-
You better! Don't make me put those videos of you online! =P
