  3. And theres my 100th post. Giveaway. Free hugs at the meet this weekend! Ill have to dig through my happy fun time special larder and see if I have any goodies to share in celebration.
  4. Thanks Torsten... (delete what I just wrote cos Torsten has answered )
  5. I think I might understand whats going on a bit better when my body dies. I feel like 'everything' is moving towards a singularity. I dont know wether that would be a personal experience of singularity - which I imagine would make the event my physical death, or a singularity shared in experience by all of us. Maybe both. In any case, its very interesting
  6. I usually have awesome dreams after a good bowl of Kava before bed. Anyone else agree? That and midafternoon naps. Awesome. Vivid intense dreams with good recall. Afternoon naps always seem more profound than my average nighttime dream. Im now reinspired to try some dreaming experiments Thanks!
  7. Tea tree oil in my bath zonks me out to unrememberable happy land until the water goes cold, but cant say I recall any 'highs', particularly not with goat stabbing.
  8. i jusst had a dream about eating lophs. i was all finnicky about eating the bits with visual imperfections. I get like that with tomatoes too.
  9. I was about to say how dodgy that guy sounds, but I was thinking of Dan Winters, from a different interview. I was a bit dissapointed to find out about this guys court battles and plagiarism allegations after having watched the interview and then done some research.
  10. i fondly remember the spring valley and rubber tubing classic from my younger days
  11. personally I wouldnt worry about the scaling too much, when Ive had black rot on my cacti, I just keep them apart from the others a little bit in the vague hope that it wont spread, and they have all come good again, but with a little scarring. feeding your cacti seaweed fertilizer is well and good but they will really respond well to more nitrogen, so maybe if you use blood and bone or worm juice or something along those lines you will maybe see more results. I like to leave my cacti to their own devices and they look awesome with only the original cut marks, and they pup where they want when they want. Thats my two cents!
  12. Hi there! Id be interested in a couple of these books... Maybe I'll PM you.
  13. Cacti Exodus. Must... stick... to... budget!
  14. We have been trying the no dig garden this year with great success. We have rampant self sown silverbeet, lettuce, carrots, coriander and some random unidentified flowering things too. Also there are some weeds, but they are struggling to compete with our enthusiastic pumpkins and greens. Complete success in my opinion. Many much food! We just let everything grow until we can identify it as useful or weed, and sometimes its both. Did end up with a few things that ended up more like trees than weeds because I didnt know what they were, but they were fun to pull up. Go the no dig garden! Our soil is lovely.
  15. That doesnt sound like much chop.. I was thinking of buying one.. but Ill hold out for other options. The garlic chilli spray sounds like fun. I already ordered success from Koda so Ill see how that pans out and let you know what i think.
  16. Thanks to everyone for their help! I am still keen to get some viable seed or some plants if anyone is interested in trading or selling, just let me know! Now Im off to Koda to do some shopping. Sorry I dont really know what sort of pests I have, apart from the drunken visitors, I have lots of small black and green things crawling all over my banisteriopsis and something nibbling my tomatoes, and eating my greens.
  17. My garden has been infested with pests, and im looking for a gentle solution to the problem. Does anyone know where i can get a neem pesticide that doesnt have all the chemical stuff in it? Also wanting to grow some, so any seeds/seedlings/cutting or even some fresh material that i can use would be great for trade or buying thanks
  18. The bosnian pyramidS (theres several of them) are apparently being excavated, and the team is calling for volunteers with free room and board to help them, right through the warmer half of the year. http://www.piramidasunca.ba/en/ They put up regular updates of their progress with lots of photos and such. Doesnt look like a hoax to me, but it could be. I want to go dig up pyramids!
