My favorite Cactus by personality is my first - Apparently it was a psych0 x Super ped... but fellow plantheads argue about that. Anyhow his name is Wonglepong, and in 5 years he has gone from a pup the size of my pinky fingernail to 3.5 feet with two arms thicker than my own. Again, waiting for the battery and charger to arrive for me camera so I can show off.

Hi there, My favorite clone is the Eileen bridgesii! Yum. and pretty. I love TBM's too. Your Loph graft looks a bit etoliated to me, is it in sun or under lights? Trichocereus Validus is not a very familiar cactus to me... Where did you hear its the strongest trich? I felt sure I wouldve heard more of it if it has a reputation as 'the strongest'. My understanding was bridgeys and TBM's tend to be the stronger genetics. I have lots of favorite cacti, one day soon Ill get a charger for my camera and upload my time lapse photos

Interestingly, I saw a documentry from the 70's on a tribe called the Kogi who apparently lived isolated from modern life, they referred to themselves as the older brothers living in harmony with the land, and modern man as the younger brother, who was running amok and going to destroy the world. All of those suggestions, of course, require high volume to get full appreciation of the soundscape it should be heard and felt, if not seen. Ever seen sound? Thats freaking loud!

Try for Dark Nebula - Wierd sound generator. I love that album. Melbourne DJ Wicked Hayo is a like an out of control chaotic pulsing cartoon movie adventure in my ears. Spoonbill is also local and very fun Talpa! I love talpa. Its all squiggly with goblins and juicy noises.

Ive been using CFL 250watts in a tent out in the shed with moderate success, it looks like lophs are getting less happy as it gets colder but the seedlings have been fine. Thinking of moving the lophs indoors.

If you could actually get three bit of root stock sucessfully attached to the scion i dont see any reason why the root stock would need to be identical, could try making catcus cocktails. Unfortunately I dont have enough root stock or buttons to try this...

Yeah it really upsets me that the bad eggs manage to put a negative perception on the 'alternative' views, particularly cos a lot of the bad eggs like to present themselves as someone to turn to for help or someone who knows it all...
