Awesome

This is disgusting.

NZ Taniwha? haha
Once I breed my own clones, I'll be making some good names up.
-
Those are some big leaves. Well done.

Nice nice, but I dunno if they are 16 years. Do these guys have growth rings like trees? hehehehe...

Thanks for the complements guys.
There is a TBM, but it's not that fat. And to be honest - it's weakness and slow growth sadden me. I want to graft an areole onto a pere and see if I can get it to revert to normal growth.
I'm not sure I have the fertilizer mix down yet, but it seems to get good growth rates. I use blood and bone, and a potato fertilizer with NPK 4:8:6, and lastly a trace elements mix quite liberally mixed in. I also use a local cactus nurserie's mix which works great on its own.

Bahahaha! I hope so. ;)

From memory, the seed did come from KK, so it very well could be an open-pollinated baby.
-
Bahahaha! :D

What the heck?

Fucking bullshit

What makes these 'chemtrails' and not contrails?

We had a nice discussion in this topic:

I don't know for sure though (I don't even think KK would hehehe).

This one isn't mine.

I'm quite sure that it was from him, so it more than likely is the same clone.
If you look here: http://www.shaman-australis.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=12413&st=0
You'll see that bit's Yowie comes from that guy as well.
So, it seems that it's a Yowie alright.

I also finally got Martin's peruvianus, and I'm thinking about crossing the two as soon as it's possible. :D
-
Also, that's snail/slug damage on the tip. Last night I remembered that I was going to check for them, so with a torch I went out and found 4 slugs and snails, and crushed them all. One was even caught in the act of eating!
-
Just heard about this cultivar today. I wish it was in NZ. :S
-
Looks Tricho to me. The areole side-profile suggests peruvianoid.
-
Oh my! That plant is legendary. I can't wait to see it get bigger. :D
-
I tried horizontal planting with a pup once. It just curved back at the growing tip. Such a slow-growing weak plant now. :/

I hope my ones are okay. :/
