Had a taste of it, I dont mind the flavour tbh... definitely unique, it does leave a strange "glaze" feeling in the mouth though.

Some interesting mushrooms were spotted this season, thought id share some photos and get any possible ID's on the unknowns. Anyone know when Morel season starts? Heard it was springtime... anyways enjoy :D Psilocybe Subaeruginosa: Unknown Genus Lactarius Deliciosus: Unknown Genus: Unknown Genus: Unknown Genus: Unknown Genus: Unknown Genus: Unknown Genus: Amanita Muscaria

When these were seen in person they didnt appear to be subs at all, in these photos they look more sub-like which is strange to me, they had a definite orange colour showing itself through the stem.
-
lol.. I second that!

Ahhh.. the saffron milk cap, found some larger specimens of these about the size of 2.5 fists, really big, mate took them home to try them out since they are edible. Thanks again for the ID Shroom-Aura!

Would like some ID on these guys here: these look pretty cool too ;)

Ive seen this type before, these type appear to be a different strain of Sub, the ones I come across with this profile are usually more potent than the more common variety...
-
Thanks that was interesting to watch..

Melb is showing first signs of psilo-life, small pins popping up and myc activity.

Lord Mayonnaise: Do you use a separate remote flash in some of your photos? This image looks like you have used some kind of flash..

Nah its not that huge one that was going on ebay for 3k, that one had much bigger heads. To the OP, nice specimens you have there, especially the first one.. looks very nice I bet you get heaps of seed from it.

May I ask where this is? Looks like a decent walking track!

The pad I have has a dial on one side to change the temperature, it will run constantly and consistently at the temperature that was set via the dial, having it hooked up to a timer would be even better.

I was looking around at the different lithop varieties out there and came across this picture.. there was no description or name to identify exactly which variety this is, any idea?
-
If you end up getting any take some photos and post them up!
