crest turns column will revert back?
planthelper replied to planthelper's topic in Cacti & Succulents
me also, grafted an areola (of the same crest cultivar) onto some pedro stock, but even, "now" some maybe 8 months later nothing has happened. anyway, graft looks super healthy, so me guess patience is, again here the answer. -
if you store them badly, like in a room which get's hot, than germ rates will drop after a year. if fresh seed is stored, inside the fridge, they don't loose much viability, even after 5 years or more!

zed, than it's all good, your potting mix sounds like it's good. one eye, they grow alright in what we might call dappled shade. I guess it's hard to describe, the many grades of shades, there are,... full shade could mean, so dark that most plants would not like it... it's a climber vine so, it is used to start life, without a lot of direct sun.

and don't forget to fertilize them ample during the active growing season, as they are very heavy feeders. if I were you, I would even fertilize her right now. growing them, to a big size, in a small pot (every pot becomes small for them after a while) means to fertilize them, often. the cold weather can make a caapi, look poor and like she is starving, and there is a good chance this is happening to you, but the pics look as well a bit like, she has been re potted into "crap potting mix".

^ that sound good, but that would mean you can't really produce clones of this strain. -
Vanuatu, kava has got a very good reputation as well, but even more important than locality, is from which parts of the plant the kava comes from. it's simple, the young (thin roots) are the best, followed by thicker roots, and the thickest, fattest roots (in diameter) are the weakest. from than onwards it's, the very bottom of the plant which get's used, but this type of kava get's refused already by serious drinkers. unfortunately, this above ground kava, is very often the only kava, which we can get our hands on. this happens as well because of the price difference, many traders are not willing to pay a premium for the good stuff. once the kava got pounded, it's close to impossible to say, from which part of the plant, the kava came from, but mostly the good root kava get's sold, as dry roots, and not in powder form, so one can see it's the good stuff.

just finished talking to acer tech support, and they want to charge me 160aud for, removing a small cd, out of the casing of the acer tower X3990!! who ever designed this acer product, must be a total idiot, because the cd drive on this acer pc, is installed VERTICALY, and small cd/dvd's just simply follow newtons law, and will just fall down into the computer. the tech support person from acer, tried to to, say that I just lack the skill to load and unload those discs, but the truth is, THE CD FELL INTO THE COMPUTER, WHEN THE ACER COMPUTER, TRIED TO EJECT THE VERY SAME!! whats the world coming to? people design something totally wrong, and instead of admitting there fault, THEY EVEN TRY TO ENRICH THEMSELVES. if you people know websites, which discuss exactly those type of issues, please post me a link, as I want lot's of people to know, how poorly ACER treats it's clients.

katus idea with the, Californian poppy is a good one, and on top of a tea, you could smoke a bit of it, on top. wild dagga, or leonotis, is another good, and very mildly sedating herb one can smoke, but as always, the smoking experience will suffer if the herb is not well cured. giving pot a break, at least for me, is a really nice experience, sure there might be some withdrawl sensations, and it's almost impossible to sleep, but don't focus on that, focus on the fact that suddenly, you will have far more energy. if you change your routine as well, a bit, than you will hardly miss the herb. this forum has got some excellent, threads regarding quitting weed, maybe you search and find them.

design flaw discovered with acer tower X3990
planthelper replied to planthelper's topic in Chill Space
photo of the acer computer design fault. this vertical cd drive, swallows small cd's, whilst the computer tries to eject the very same! I am sure this designer got the sack, from acer, but how can a flaw like this make it all the way to mass production? it happens without any human interference, but they said it's my fault, and want to charge me 160aud to get the cd out of the casing! I said, but it will happen again, because it's a design flaw, but acer said, "we don't see it this way". ACER = NO GOOD!!!- 12 replies

I can only talk about lactuca virosa, and it certainly shows some marked effects, if one smokes the resin. I also seem to remember reports here of people falling asleep after prolonged sessions, but this report, could as well have been regarding the prickly (Mexican) poppy. the results might vary for people with a tolerance to opiates, for obvious reasons. prickly lettuce and prickly poppy, definitely are very active, but how shall I say, not as nice a somniferum. let's compare those two effects to the clouds in the sky, somniferum, is all a sunny cosy day, with a few fluffy white clouds, and wild lettuce and more so Mexican poppy, is a bit like, being held down, and watching dark clouds all around you.

IBOGA: I got 7 ripe iboga pods for sale (prefer to sell in one lot), which are still on the bush right now. I don't know there exact value, so make me offers, by pm'ing me. on average one pod will contain 11 seeds. PSYCHOTRIA VIRIDIS SHIPIBO: got heaps of seeds, try to sell bulk, was self pollinated. also, I want to reduce my entire collection of plants and cacti. there are two way's, how we can work out the details, either just pm me asking if I have what you are looking for, or you pick from a list, which hopefully, i will post tomorrow.
