  1. Where i live they drink rainwater and the locals are dumb as fuck mostly. That could just be inbreeding i suppose.

And there is fluoride in toothpaste too so you'd better stop brushing.

Fluoride in water is good and prevents osteo and tooth decay. A relative of mine went to bundaberg to be a dentist and they dont have fluoride in the water. Great if you're a dentist

I'm assuming the dumb people lived in an underdeveloped area and had poor schooling.

You can buy fluoride free toothepaste. Aloe Dent is a good alternative to fluoride toothepaste. Most people have crappy teeth because they are lazy. Flossing is 50% of the teeth cleaning process and I personally don't know many people who floss. From what I've read fluoride replaces the calcium in our bones and teeth.

All you need to do to see that fluoride is poisonous is look at it's MSDS

    "Ingestion:

If swallowed, do not induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel. Never give anything by mouth to an

unconscious person. Loosen tight clothing such as a collar, tie, belt or waistband. Get medical attention immediately."

Any product that has "do not swallow" on the label or "keep out of reach of children" shouldn't be ingested by anyone. You won't see those labels on organic products.

  2. Thanks for the help. I've pulled the weeds that were 3 and re-planted 4. Is 4 most likely a weed?

    2. How big should the seedling be before I re-pot it?

In the pot where most of these seedlings are growing I had a lifeless lychee plant. Since the other seedlings have been growing the lychee has gotten new leaves and is starting to grow. Would the lychee plant be pushed to grow faster because it is competing for soil with the other plants?

I've got a rasberry plant which hasn't grow at all in 3 months and is still a small 15cm high seedling. How would I get this to grow?

    Thanks for all the help

  3. Over the summer whenever I ate fruit I would plant the seeds but I didn't bother marking what they were. I thought they would be easier to identify but after a bit of searching on google I still don't know what they are. The seedlings in the first pic are baffling me. They look like capsicum but I never planted any capsicum seeds there, that I can remember.

I think it might be capsicum?

  4. I ended up buying a 3.7m x 2m greenhouse from byrontrader for $400. I'll be putting it together in the next week.

What have you guys used for the base?

I'm thinking of following this guide for my base

    http://www.littlegreenhouse.com/base/base.shtml

I don't want to use treated pine because it will corrode the aluminium, so cypress seems like the best choice if I could find it.

  5. tripsis I had a look at a few and most seem to be 1.5m like you said. The seller you listed seems to be the cheapest for the ones with the higher walls.

I would have just use a good base of crushed rock for the flooring though..

Why crushed rock and not gravel? I'd rather small/medium round gravel on the floor since it won't hurt my bare feet.

  6. growing plant means you have to care for them, and to know what is what...

you have to become better with your green thumb!

pic 1, did it never occure to you to weed out that plant, the iboca got basicly bullied halve dead.

pic 2, only unwanted plants in that shot, can't see any catha.

pic 3, pull out the unwanted plant on the left of the catha.

Thanks mate. I've been away for the past 2 months and had someone else take care of them for me. He had no idea what was what and just watered them. I only just got back today and wanted to know what was what before I ripped them out.

I'm pretty devastated about the iboga. What's the best thing I can do to get this plant back in good condition. Will the leaves just have fallen off because of the cold?

  7. I bought a few plants from shaman-australis.com and now have a few different weeds/plants growing with them. I'm new to gardening so I'm not sure what the other weeds or plants are. Some of the weeds are now bigger than the plant since I've been away on holidays.

Pic 1 - tabernanthe iboga. Is the other plant just a blade of grass?

Pic 2 - catha edulus (you can just see it in the back leaning on the bamboo). The 2 bigger plants/weed I'm not sure what they are?

Pic 3 - catha edulus - is the plant on the left just a weed?

Sorry for asking such a basic question. I probably should just pull them out straght away but I just want to know what they are first.
