    Is this a pachanoi?

Haha, I ate one of those like you would a pedro when I was desperate to get a high. Nothing! Glad it wasn't something dangerous!

smokable lsa's from common house plant!!!

Bringing back an old thread - sorta old - I was thinking, there is a lot of information on these forums dug deep, but it is often hard to get the information your looking for unless you search for hours. So, with this interesting thread in mind, we could do a sticky in another thread, relating to clever little tricks to consuming ethno's that people generally don't hear about. Eg: smoking spider grass or snorting the HBWR husk (which I will try). Anyway, i'll see what you guys think. Otherwise, can I clear this up, spider grass IS an MAIO, right? And, the HBWR, the whole 'pod' is almost powdery, it powders fairly easy when pressed. There is some powder inside the pod where the seeds are kept, there is also a fibrous coating that falls off easily. Is that the husk? That's what it appears to be. I would like to hear from anyone else who has tried this method. And, about the pod, would the pod be usable? EDIT: Oh and, what would a mixture of HBWR seeds/husk and spider grass flowers combined and smoked be like? Worth any additional effects aside from either one alone? And, It has been covered in this thread already I think, but for summaries sake, as above - what can spider grass be mixed with to potentate the effects of the other? And what is the oral dose of spider grass on its own? XP
  3. It is an ideal drug to those wishing not to feel anything, but receive results. A lot of people taking drugs are in it for what they feel from it. So, it's all relative.
  4. Yes, MAIO's are not the be taken with SSRI's, but the question was not that, but if kanna is a mild MAIO? I planted some seeds today
  5. I want to find this out too. A quick google didn't show anything...

    seeing my thoughts

Wow, just finding out now that this is practically a condition! I have had this for as long as I can remember and just assumed everyone had it. Its like faded colourful static all the time that can cause what looks like movement in still objects if i stare at them. Sort of like what you get when your stoned? Or is that just me again? Well, good to know I guess. I now have a term! :D
  7. Past Experience: Major Depression - I went through a lot of medications during this period. I was on Prozac for a short while (6 weeks) but came off it because that shit messes with your thoughts (bad). I was on Zoloft 50mg to start with not long after this. It wasn't doing anything so eventually after increasing the dosage gradually I ended up taking 200mg at one stage! SSRI's are very specific to the person. Prozac IMO is shit, zoloft being the best of the lot. Just because the zoloft didn't do much help before doesn't mean it didn't work. I was in a state during that time that only a miracle could bring me out. I am on Zoloft 50mg now voluntarily as I know they helped my anxiety and since a re-emergence of a latent anxiety disorder I needed something to help me. With SSRI's you NEED to let them work before you can make up your mind. 6 weeks a minimum IMO because everybody is different. The effects are not how you would say immediately noticeable when they start happening, but when you think back 6 weeks before you realise you generally have been better. I think therapy is just as, if not more important than just taking medication, but then again I can't talk- I haven't seen a shrink in a while... Anyway, good luck! Sorry if this didn't make much sense, i'm deadly tired - hsc shit Tim
  8. Some say it gives you a narcotic-like high, or even a 'toxic' feeling. Does anyone know anything about this? Experiences with such methods? I am not willing to try this ATM as I am on SSRI's and want to avoid any possibly dangerous combinations, but would also see what others have to say. I did UTFSE but couldn't find anything specific, or maybe I didn't look hard enough. Either way, this is a specific thread aimed at this method of ingestion as I know most MG's in Australia don't seed. Tim

    Smoking Morning Glory Flowers

Well that pretty much says it all. And Mutant I also had the word cyanide in the back of my mind when I thought of consuming the other parts of the plant for some reason.

    Smoking Morning Glory Flowers

Hmm, poor guy. A friend said they give an odd high for a while, but he says it makes him feel angry and the day after he feels as if he's been binging on chems. But I don't know how reliable this guy is which is why I ask. He actually told me this a while ago, it just came to memory now I guess. About them setting seed, I don't know where bouts you see your morning glory, but the ones that grow as weeds EVERYWHERE I have looked don't seed at all. Some lady told me this also in the nursery. She said they grew from cuttings people threw into the bush. The wild ones I am seeing could well be Ipomea purpurea, but I could have sworn they were heavenly blue...? Anyway, in relation to smoking I am more interested in. That homeless guy sounds like he could have had some gastro problems from the flowers, either that or he was just out of it, which is a good thing I guess...
  11. Yeah that is true about the haze. It is also possibly that sativa varieties are often to tall to grow inside, hence being bush.... Those who grow commercially also pump their plants with so many chemicals to get big bud growth, then never flush the fuckers before harvest. I think the negative effects from street bud could be due to this. Maybe there are dangerous pesticides on them etc. I don't think it has anything to do with the bud...
  12. All of that being said, it is also proven though that CBD prevents many of the paranoia/anxiety feelings that pure THC can cause. I think the problem simply with skunk these days is exactly that, they are bred for their high THC content and would naturally be lower in CBD. CBD is also responsible for a lot of the pain and inflammatory responses cannabis has. A friend has terrible back pain, when he smokes skunk he gets tension that makes it worse, when he smokes some good indica bush it disappears. It's probably all relative to the amount of CBD present. Some people won't sketch out on pure THC, some will. It might sound too simple, but I think it is that simple. But that's just what I think.
  13. Yeah but they exhibited psychosis when given too much...when the high wore off im sure they returned to normal - which they didn't clearly state anyway. Just like someone on acid, they can seem totally psychotic, but when they come down everything is back to the way it was. What they really should have concluded is that: while under the influence of high doses of IV THC one can exhibit the signs of psychosis. Which everyone knows anyway.... Though I do have to admit, some cannabis these days is just way to strong. The anxiety doesn't appear with bush, but smoke some skunk from the streets and you get panic attacks and all...well, some of the time.
  14. At least there was something worth-while in that video - "know the truth about what you are about to take", erowid, places like here are the best places to find out. I strongly discourage people taking things they don't know much about, it's behavior like that that creates the statistics...

    Still around?

Hey, I'm going to do a trip up to the Blue Mountains within the next week and was wondering if anyone has had any luck quite recently up there? I'm talking within a fortnight or something. I know the season should be ending soon and it is getting a bit warm nowdays, what do you think the chances are of finding some subs around the towns around now? Thanks Tim

    Mushroom Crop Circle

Those two show distinctly human made characteristics. Im a skeptic about both sides. Like ThunderIdeal said, I don't think it's "case closed"

    Mushroom Crop Circle

There was also some doco I saw about crop circles and that 'genuine' ones actually have particular minerals at the site that aren't contained around the circle. It is also supposed to be done in less than 2 hrs (some say seconds). Some Uni students tried to replicated it as accurately as possible and almost did it. I duno, i'm undecided.
  20. eexpee

    Hmm, I duno??

It must have happened just recently but the new posting format where all the posts to the topic are in a list below the original post. I don't like it. I find it much easier to just see what posts are there and read them instead of having to click on those individually. Am I the only one who doesn't like it or am I the only one who is experiencing it!?? Tim

    Hornsby members???

They only go to central....I usually go to Townhall unfortunately

    Hornsby members???

Im around the Hornsby area when I'm at my mum's. Iv'e always quite liked it, lived around the area all my life. North Turramurra is definitely more leafy, it has a bit of an Autumn-english feel. I had no idea about the express line, I think i'm going to be taking that instead, I always go the 50 minutes trek stopping at all stops

    Extreme Sheperding

    I was absolutely captivated....
  25. Hunab, I read your post earlier on today and have now begun to think about it more. Anyway, I was thinking about the trends that seem to be occurring with your mushroom adventures of reaching much higher planes, like the hallucinations change and become more 'real' form, not so much of the tryptamine visuals. I was relating it to what Terrance Mckenna said about taking psychedelics. I can't remember his words exactly but it was something like, when newbies take mushrooms they don't get into the deep stuff, like saying "ahh, this guy is new, we will take him through the scenic route as not to scare him" But, when you become much more familiar with the place, the mushrooms begin to show you what they are really about, like knowing you've been there many times before and your not going to lose it. Something like that. Damn, that was hard to write... Excuse if it doesn't make much sense...
