    Boomer Season 2009

Aaah, after reading a bit around the net, I have a feeling I should have left those yellow ones for a bit before taking them from mother nature. From what I can tell, they are Amanita muscari in their early stage, not yet popped out from the white/yellow stuff. I noticed when looking closer at the ones I got, I could see orange/red through cracks in the yellow/white. Cool. I think I'm learning. http://www.buy-the-cheapest-viagra-online....agaric002a.html

    Opinions? subs? cubes? liberty?

Yeah, they do not bruise blue or anything like that (what I am really looking for! ) ... so that's why I posted them here, to see what you guys think. Thank you both very much for the replies. Any opinion on the ones I posted in the other thread: http://www.shaman-australis.com/forum/inde...mp;#entry214618
  3. I found some fungi today which to me, look a lot like the ones in this picture: http://www.shaman-australis.com/forum/inde...st&id=12535 I also posted some pics of some other finds (what I think are Amanita) in the "boomer" thread: http://www.shaman-australis.com/forum/inde...st&p=214618

Here my finds from today's trek in to Mt Crawford Forest of SA: Now, this is the first time I have found any like these... I am assuming I have found some Amanita's. I am drying them now (I used scissors and did not just pull them out)... but if you don't think I should consume them, shout out! I'd really like to find some subs though... that is just wOw! DreamingNagual, I can't believe how many you got!

    first ever find

Nice finds austin! I posted in the other thread about SA (the rains are ere'), saying how they are starting to appear around the place. I might go out again next week for a more thorough search. The habitat that I venture is the same as yours.

    rain at last in sa!

Yeah, it sucks here sometimes. I went out to the "forest" today to see how things were looking. Nice and damp and such, no streams or anything yet... some pools of water. Anyway, I reckon it could happen sooner than you think. Now, I do not have a very good hunting spot near by, I have only ever found a "few" samples of the good stuff in the past. Anyway, the reason I say sooner than you think is because I did find this today: A good indication of the right conditions me thinks. I also found a stump of "something" lying around, that looks like it had it's top cleanly cut off. And btw, I am new here... so hello!
