  2. ^ I can. This thread made me realise that my tinnitus is actually always there bubbling away just below the surface it's just I don't notice it if i'm not thinking about it. Kind of like wearing upside down glasses I guess

    covid 19 vaccination

^ I dumbed it down for us mere mortals brother. https://www1.racgp.org.au/newsgp/clinical/potential-new-covid-treatment-reduces-viral-count fwiw I am off for my first shot of pfizer tomorrow. Excited and a little nervous at the same time...
  5. I have suffered tinnitus from time to time and went thru a bout back in 2014. I never really did find the cause (but suspect it was something shitty I was doing at the time ). It seemed to disappear as quickly as it came. Recently though I had another incident immediately following a vape of some pretty ordinary weed. It was painful and a little scary - almost like a panic attack. I picked up a guitar, got lost in some 'music' and thankfully it just disappeared. I'm still confused about this... maybe it was just a mild panic attack after all - my tolerance has been extremely low of late? Now I definitely do have something wrong with my left ear/eustachian tube and even suspect a micro-perforation of the eardrum from chicken pox 15 years ago might have been the cause. It plagued me no-end last weekend with a headache. I'm just mustering courage, patience and money to revisit my ENT surgeon... I'll keep you posted if anything comes of it.

    covid 19 vaccination

The old oral polio vaccine has no relevance to the Covid vaccine(s). But i guess any negative headline about vaccines is good for business. Here's some gems from the article that should be easier to digest: "That eradication effort has been incredibly successful. In 1988, when the campaign began, there were 350,000 cases of polio around the world each year compared with the six so far this year." "These outbreaks are occurring only in very rare cases and only in places where children are not immunized," says Zaffran. The regular polio vaccine protects children from vaccine-derived strains of the virus just as it protects them from regular polio." and leading cause of Polio? OK, OK - 21 is greater than 6... but versus 350,000... At least you bothered to post a reference.

Censor you? On the contrary. So much dumb shit in this post I think its worth preserving. But that's just my opinion. My honest opinion of course - so it must be true.
  8. Well folks, as much as it breaks my heart, I can no longer care for all my cacti so I'm having to let some go. rooting a blue over winter

Can you not dry, callus, pot and then keep inside somewhere over winter - at least until they've established roots? They shouldn't need much light and less light might actually be an advantage whilst they are rooting.

I wasn't disappointed. ahh meteors... been a while since i've seen one of those in the city. or the milky way... (edit: my family just walked in raving about the extremely bright shooting star they'd just seen )

    covid 19 vaccination

You make it sound like any old vaccine could be used with no regard to safety at all but that's not quite the reality: https://www.fda.gov/vaccines-blood-biologics/vaccines/emergency-use-authorization-vaccines-explained We are very lucky in Australia, but if you've seen what's happening in places like India, then the word "emergency" seems wholly appropriate. I have (had ) a very good friend that has now disappeared almost completely down the rabbit hole of conspiracy theories and anti-vax. The hypocrisy is that this friend never hesitates in putting large quantities of street 'cocaine' and 'mdma' into his system, yet is highly suspicious and damning of the vaccines and modern medicine in general. It's very sad.

    covid 19 vaccination

What would greatly help with the AZ clotting concerns is a little more info about the outcome of patients that suffered the problem. Presumably most made a recovery...?
  16. SayN

    covid 19 vaccination

If I could get the Pfizer vaccine tomorrow I would. The AZ vaccine concerns me with the clotting issue and it's old technology. On the plus side, at least we're getting reporting of the issues and it isn't all being swept under the carpet. I guess I can hang out until later this year - I feel I've come this far. 'Big pharma' is a little like taxes I guess - a somewhat necessary evil. But I think it's important to realise that it isn't some kind of all-devouring beast but is made up of scientists, researchers and health professionals that i'm certain are not simply 'in it for the money'.

    Quotes of the day.

“The whole process of child development and education is to take your brain, which is extremely malleable, and force it to be like everyone else’s brain. Under psychedelics, you go back to a state where bits of the brain that haven’t spoken since you were a baby can cross-talk. And it’s that increased connectivity that allows people to get new insights into old problems.” Dr David Nutt
