The 'Sharxx Blue' clone was named by an older member here PD. As mentioned the plant originates from Dawsons, It's toward the right front near the patch of spachianus. Here's a pic of what is left of the parent plant....

New listings: Mansoa alliacea: Considered analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-rheumatic. It is widely used for arthritis, rheumatism, body aches and pain, and muscle aches and injuries. The bark is typically prepared in a tincture or a decoction for these types of conditions but the leaves are used similarly for the same conditions as well. In addition, the leaves are also a common remedy for colds, flu, pneumonia, coughs, fever, and headaches. It can be found as an ingredient ayahuasca. It is added to the brew to drive away evil spirits, or to purify the blood and body to make the ayahuasca more readily accepted. Malotus phillipensis: Traditionally it is used to get rid of intestinal worms and is one of the best herbal remedies for this. This has been shown to be the case by modern medical research which has also vindicated other traditional uses of this tree. All parts are used and in recent years the stems and flowers, as well as the fruit have been tested for their medicinal properties. The leaves are pounded into a paste and applied to wounds and they have maturant properties, this means that they draw pus out of wounds. It would seem that the fruit is used most, in traditional medicine, although research has shown that the flowers and bark have useful properties too. Sambucus nigra: Used for its antioxidant activity to lower cholesterol, improve vision, boost the immune system, improve heart health and for coughs, colds, flu, bacterial and viral infections and tonsillitis. Contain organic pigments, tannin, amino acids, carotenoids, flavonoids, sugar, rutin, viburnic acid, vitamin A and B and a large amount of vitamin C. They are also mildly laxative, a diuretic, and diaphoretic. Flavonoids, including quercetin, are believed to account for the therapeutic actions of the elderberry flowers and berries. Most species of Sambucus berries are edible when picked ripe and then cooked. Both the skin and pulp can be eaten. However, it is important to note that most uncooked berries and other parts of plants from this genus are poisonous.
