    Transplant Psychotria?

eatfoo was quick on the Pm so I'm going to leave it up to him... i bought it from Torsten years ago... pretty sure it was a P. Viridis. I should post a photo to make sure it is actually a psychotria as it was planted ages ago and I have never done anything with it. Hopefully the mrs or the dog haven't pulled it out! So maybe don't get too excited just yet.

    Transplant Psychotria?

I have a 5 year old or so psychotria in my backyard in Perth and am about to move. Does anyone want to come and get it? Not sure if it is any good to transplant.. It has been in a tropical-ish garden under shade..

    Natural Antihistamines - Help?

Chamomile is a natural anti-histamine. It's one of my favourite all round natural substances... Calms everyhting down.. Chamomile (Matricaria recutita, or German Chamomile) is a popular herb taken for a variety of health issues. Chamomille’s anti-histamine property comes from the compound quercetin. Chamomile can be taken as an herbal tea and has been reported to have antimicrobial and antioxidant properties as well. In addition, it also has anti-platelet activity, so care must be taken when someone is taking blood thinner

    Most over-rated herbal

Torsten, did you make the lagochilin extract yourself? I have been interested in this substance since a company we all know started claiming it as the main active ingredient in a smoking mix and certain capsules. (I'm sure the products were actually sprayed with synthetic cannabanoids in reality...... however...) I have made a tea from the foul tasting Turkestan mint, couldn't smoke it much due to horrid taste and thickness but got a mild sedation from it. What did the extract do for you?

    Help moderating my pot intake

Be careful with vapes, not all are created equally. You don't want to be inhaling plastic/lead etc from cheap Chinese units for example. You also want to be able to control temp well to keep the lowest possible temp whilst still getting the desired effects. The Volcano is a good quality unit, but it sure as hell makes partying and consuming too much way too easy... I think one of the reasons the Aromed has been so successful for me is that it is not toooo easy to use. It is not hard either, but it doesn't encourage you to have more as such. I keep it out in my shed so I have to go outside to have a top up, also effective in saving me from over consuming. Like someone else said, make a habit of only having any pot after 9pm if you work during the day, or when you have all of your shit done. One small "cone" on the Aromed gets me high for a few hours - I used to smoke 2 non-mixed joints of killer per session minimum.

Fungimentary: The Magic Mushrooms of Balingup

Yes it is. It's an interesting and funny indi doco. Don't know why anyone would knock it.. Those who have hunted Balingup and had to avoid the cops will find it more interesting. It is just as much about the politics of a small town dealing with an influx of bogans, morons and some good people of course, picking (and some eating/driving/littering/leaving cattle gates open etc) at the same time) as it is about subs. The cops do a great job of making themselves look stoopid too. It's very unique, in that only in the hyper-nanny-state of WA could this sort of situation arise in the first place...

First subs of the 2011 season!

I used to get confused looking for subs in S.A becuase they did seem different. I always go (I live in W.A but born in Adelaide) into the hills to a few spots and the subs there do have really thin stems, seem to bruise with less colour than in WA & Vic, and seem to always be smaller (although that could just be my timing) They also seem a tad more golden than copper also. I have only hunted in SA in winter, and I have often wondered whether they are the same.

    Kaktus Powder from HHH

This stuff is not weak. Be careful about mixing Kaktus with anything else. A friend with plenty of experience in all manner of substances was in a bad way after having a full vial of Kaktus, a few drinks, plenty of cannabis and an empathy cap. He went super cold, got the sweats, couldn't talk properly at all and spewed for a couple of hours. I almost took him to emergency. I think the caffeine mixed with the psychedelic effects was too much for him. He doesn't drink coffee for example. Kaktus is best consumed in nature - nice connections. Most HHH products are not "weak". Empathy is great fun, and highly active. 2 over a night is like a sensible mdma experience with little negative effects the next day.

    Help moderating my pot intake

I bought an Aromed Vape 12 months ago and have completely kicked the psychological/self-medicating aspect to my pot use. I smoked daily for over 15 years until very recently. I found that the vape was not doing it for me for the first week or so, but then after a while smoking seemed dirty and inefficient to me. I now find myself getting high, but not wasted on co2 or whatever it is that kicks you in the guts and lungs at the same time from smoking. I use the vape a few times a week and only smoke joints in social settings every now and then. I will probably never give up for good because I truly believe cannabis is amazing in so many ways. But as you get older there is no point repeating the same learning process all day every day. Besides who the hell has the time any more...

    New discoveries in thailand

No they are not. But is very easy to get a mushie milkshake or omlette from vendors. Make sure you stipulate what strength you want. Weed is also easily available, but you have to be very careful. There are "reggae" bars everywhere, often run by Moroccans or Algerians with Thais. If you are going to be desperate enough to buy weed then buy it out of the party areas where cops don't really target hard. The mandatory sentence for possession of weed or shrooms is 12 months in prison. $5,000 USD is the going rate to bribe your way out of trouble. Above all else, be respectful to the Thais and don't get angry no matter what happens. Give face! N.B I wouldn't bring back any seeds or plants no matter whether they are llicit or not as we have the toughest Quarantine laws around.

    rain at last in sa!

Thanks... There was heaps of mycellium around, and others had been through before us. Heaps of upturned fungi. This wasn't far off the main road, maybe 50 metres. Most of the subs were solitary, or two or three together max. They are forecasting a month of rain so good luck to all of the SA folk.

    rain at last in sa!

Went to Kersbrook area today and had a look around, plenty of fly agarics, literally over 50 or 60 big specimens in a small area. Found about 12 subs, ranging from quite small to medium in size. Most of them were a little old, but far from rotting. I imagine there will be heaps over the next week or 3 with the rain forcasted, but I am only here on holidays so I will miss out on them! It's great to not have to go commando style like in WA. These stained more green than blue.

Everyone is going to say you will get caught in Balingup. Partly because if you aren't clever about it you very well might, but mostly because they hope one day everyone will give up and the cops will piss off. I have been in the danger zone and surrounding areas 3 times in the last few years and haven't seen any police ops in the woods. I have seen cars pulled over on the highway at the information stand at the bottom of the fabled rd getting searched. The truth is, they are mostly interested in easy-target bogans and hippies, and those who draw attention to themselves. They will still bust anyone they catch mind you. I have heard from locals and people from surrounding towns of well orchestrated police raids involving many officers, some in the main picking areas as well as on the road, but have never witnessed it. There are some other good spots in the area, do some research, follow rivers and creeks, look like you have a good reason to be there, and don't hang around the area if you find some goodies.
