Well there is no.... 'ethnobotanical gardens' if that is what you are asking... The main ones you will find are: Kava.. is grown everywhere Betel Nut .. grows in lots of gardens Betel leaf .. grows in lots of gardens These are the ones I was aware of when I was there... I haven't always been into ethnobotanicals so I didn't take much notice of others, but I'm SURE there would be many many more...

Hey Jack.. Yeah.. My family is there. You will love it. If you are interested in plants etc.. the gardens between Nadi and Suva are amazing. You will find a fair few of our favourites there. As for the Kava.. make friends with the locals where you are staying.. they drink Kava every night... $1 FJD will get you a nice size bag of great Kava. The Islands are the most beautiful place, so my advice is to get off the mainland as soon as you can and go to an island. Um... dunno what other info you are after.. but I can say this... all the good plants are on the mainland... all the beauty is on the islands. Enjoy your trip... you'll love it.. Oh... and this is the best advice I can give: If anyone comes up to you in the street and asks your name.. DON'T GIVE IT TO THEM... they will most likely carve your name into a wooden sword and then fleece you for all of your cash... they have been doing this for years... be aware of it... If you get done.... go to the 'Visitors Bureau' and not the Embassy.. (they will send you there anyway) .. I know this because when I was living there for a while my ex came over and got done hard... Add dry stuff to chocolate and cut into squares... there are some recipies at the nook. I tried one of the recipies and it worked well. Trick is to add the dry powder when the chocolate is starting to go solid and mix like crazy... this way you are limiting the heat exposed to the powder. I was thinking about adding pieces of ginger to the chocolates... mmmm ginger... to help with the nausea the next time I make some.. (and cause I love ginger) Also... if you want to treat yourself... use the Lindt 70% or 85% dark ..... mmmmm taste = yum! IMO: Tea tases like shit... Well I can't comment on purity but...AFOAF still can't get ANY!!! mdma, ghb, meth, coke, appear to be huge in my area.. (so AFOAF says) but no LSD... not even LSA! That being said.. if I was AFOAF, I would be very pissed if I got LSA.. I remember the days where clearlights, Barts and microdots were everywhere... now... nothing. mmmmmm we need a new 'Kesey' for this century...

BeakerMix 1 very level teaspoon of Calcium Hydroxide (cause that's what I've got left over from Betel nut madness) 1 cup dry coir packed in a cup as best you can 3 cups verm 3 cups of Hot water 2-5ml H2O2 (optional) Mix Calcium in one cup of HOT water and put that in a bucket..mix very well.. water will be white and you should have VERY few lumps. Add coir only.. mix...mix....mix..mix..expanded a little Add the two remaining cups of water... mix ...mix... fully expanded and a bit wet. Add the three cups of verm mix until it gives you the shits... I then let it cool in a large ziplock bag.. when ready to use I nuke it for 5 mins on high and let cool in microwave... spray air with glen20 (if I'm in a hurry I put the microwave safe container into a plastic bag.. seal.. place in a bucket of ice or fridge whatever) you can now add h202 if you want.. Case.. It should be spot on for moisture. I have had PH vary from 7 to 7.5 This is a small scale casing mix... if you need more.. do the above twice and mix (don't double the mix.. just do it twice..that way the calcium is mixed well into the coir giving a good PH) This mix works very well with the Double ended tek..(remove casing after each flush scratch/dunk and recase with fresh mix) I will let you know how it goes with the 'take-away container' tek..but I'm expecting it should work OK... though I may get contams towards the last two flushes due not changing the casing between flushes.. I have been experimenting with casing trays... (foil take-away container) I have a casing tray that has quite a few patches of mycelium now showing on the surface. Am I correct in thinking that nothing other than putting the tray in the fruiting environment needs to be done???? Cheers Beaker
