Haha I have no idea who you are but you sound cool. So if you're allowed to vote for more than one band (because I'm friends with lots of musos who have bands) then I'll throw a vote your way

Out-of-date drug laws are hurting people

I mean knowing you shouldn't have that extra hit of ice, use that third day in a row; the point before which you become addicted. Of course we don't know the precise point but everyone should have at least a vague idea about what's going to be pushing it. If you've got no care at all about the possibility of addiction, it's my POV that you simply have no care for your life. It's very simplistic but I'm not quite in a good enough frame of mind to further elaborate :?

Out-of-date drug laws are hurting people

Once again it's the abuse of substances that ruin them for everyone else. Well, abuse and greedy corporations trying to keep certain plants like cannabis being used medicinally and industrially as a cheaper alternative... ABUSE not USE is the issue. Unfortunately there are always going to be selfish and reckless people who just don't give a flying fuck about the consequences of their actions. It's hard to remind anti-drug campaigners that no matter what is illegalised, these people are always going to find something to abuse and it's THEMSELVES that cause the problem, not the drug. A drug is an inanimate object, it has no will to destroy you, only YOU have to will to destroy YOURSELF. (Sorry about the caps, I'm too used to typing where I can't use italics)

Not to mention when people equate illegal with dangerous they also equate legal with safe. Paracetamol is widely abused because a lot of people don't realise that 4grams is the maximum daily dose. It's highly toxic to the liver. Keeping the truth about drugs from people is neither safe or conducive to a trusted government.

Oh wow I didn't even know that access existed. Thanks, Farm. Of course my automatic distrust of politicians make me doubt it would even be worth the effort of typing up an email.

"Minute" was a very poor choice of word, probably should have left it out altogether. Though what I meant was that a person could suffer either in pain or with the possibility of addiction. Addiction is never guaranteed if you try harm minimisation which is why I tried to rotate the analgesics. "I don't have a pain management issue, I have a PAIN issue" says Dr House MD. I knew I had developed a tolerance and addiction to he oxy and codeine but I was still only using it for pain (although to be perfectly honest it does feel really nice when I've had higher doses. Normal doses didn't really get me "high" because I was trying to keep the dosages low as possible). Over that period of time I stopped oxy and codeine around three times each for various reasons and weaned myself off sensibly rather than cold turkey though it was still unpleasant. I proved to myself three (or so) times that I could do with the ever present subconscious warning that it doesn't guarantee the next time will be fine. The procedure wait took far longer than it should have so of course the longer I waited the longer I would be exposed to addiction. I wanted to take the chances of that if it meant pain relief. Longer wait meant pain eventually got worse, and that the oxy dose became insufficient. Basically all I wanted was some sort of long-acting ADEQUATE pain relief. Something like a low dose (but more than 10mg) oxycontin or mscontin so there's no peak and trough of effects. Tramadol is great for its duration but it wasn't enough to kill most of the pain. I've heard the opposite said of tramadol too though, that there's been quite of lot of people who have had bad reactions and a lot of people it does nothing for. Also I would never assume to know more about medical facts than a GP which is why I said I pay them to treat me, not do it myself. However I felt like she didn't listen to me at all and is now letting her judgement that I was only seeking the oxy to get high cloud anything else I have or might say.
  8. Perhaps it's just our perception of the direction of side/spin/direction. A clock ticks clockwise, if we were looking at the clock from behind (or reverso) then the clock EDIT: sorry the "hand" would be moving ANTI-clockwise. The world rotates west to east because we are looking at the Earth at the aspect of northern hemisphere to the north; what happens when we look at the globe from upside down? I dunno.

Out-of-date drug laws are hurting people

She expected me to make do with 20 measely 5mg oxy tablets to last for a fortnight max but if I were to use them p.r.n I would be through them in three or four days. I can guarantee my asking for methadone would have only had her stopping prescribing the oxys and I could kiss all future chance of getting it goodbye Stupidly it wasn't until another doctor in that practice (who is a bit creepy and very arrogant) told me to try Ponstan for the ureteric cramps which is part source of the intense pain. Why didn't SHE tell me? Normally I research a lot of things myself so I'm kicking myself a bit for not thinking to try Ponstan, but FFS SHE is the GP who I pay money to help me. I went back to see her for my contraceptive pill refill in August which was the first time I'd seen her since February because I've been well since the procedure. First thing she says to me? "You're looking well, don't need Endone anymore." Well f***ing hello to you too, you dirty f***ing bag of crunts. So I'm still in the process of getting my lazy arse to find another doctor who is conveniently local and who might actually have some compassion rather than being told to put up with it. I put up with the pain without opiates for years because I feared them after having had a fentanyl overdose (not my fault I guarantee you) until I finally realised analgesia is preferential to the minute chance of addiction. I should mention that thankfully the pain isn't that bad anymore since I had the procedure (ESWL if anyone is interested, and even if you're not it's an interesting procedure to look at for curiosity's sake ) so I've only got mild pains here and there while a small stone is passing as they inevitably will every year or so. Uhh sorry about the ramble, people.

    dry or boiled

I can't understand why my Argentinian friend's preparation didn't go well? She dried a bit, froze a bit, boiled a bit, took the spines and skin and as much white/light green gunk from it and ate around 40gs of the slimy mash and it was still barely felt. Yet this simple method as described above works? What did my friend do wrong? Was there just simply not enough material ingested? She even boiled another 40gs (friend is very careful with first time doses and doesn't like to hugely up the dose of a new method of preparation) and strained, to shaft the juice (yes ICK... apparently). Friend's cactus piece was t. peruvianus.

Field of poppies holy hell I wish. I've read up on seed tea but I'm hesitant given the potential variation of potency. My grandmother apparently used to go out with her brothers and harvest some resin from scoring poppies out on the family farm. She's an original bush girl and a wealth of herbal knowledge. Unfortunately I can't pump her for info LOL Kratom has recently been made illegal here D: but I shall look into s. nemorosa thank you Lousewort I've looked into too but haven't been able to find much on it

    IMPORTANT LEGAL INFO

So because I haven't eaten mescaline (...) I shouldn't care that I might not ever get a chance to or to simply defy an arbitrary law conspired by rich political beaurocrats for their own agenda? The NAC people would have been able to collect wild peyote with deference to the risk of overharvesting. All native peoples surviving off their land know this; they know the land far better than the vast majority of the colonial immigrants. Hah one of my decendants was an Irish convict who later became one of the original Sydney coppers too, maybe it's the same guy? Doubtful but ya never know... my rello's name was Thomas Dunn. I think it was Thomas anyway...

    Agwa, bolivian coca leaf liquer

AUS govt is wayyyy too anal to let anything remotely related to an illicit drug into here. There's no way people should believe this actually contains cocaine anymore than they should believe they'll trip balls and see green fairies while drinking absinthe. It's a different alcoholic "high" compared to other alcohols but neither is drinking Long Island Iced Tea anything like drinking beer. ps Green Fairy alco-jolt is RUBBISH and tastes roughly like burnt arse. There's a reason it's so cheap (ten bucks four cans 8.2% each). Hmm I wonder what happens to the material the cocaine has been removed into?

Out-of-date drug laws are hurting people

This issue is close to me though thankfully I haven't had anywhere near as bad a time as others would have. Anyway I get recurrent kidney stones and let me tell you the pain is everything they say it is although I have gotten accustomed to it somewhat over the past nine years. From around May 07 I started getting the usual build-up bad stone pain. While waiting until Jan 08 for a procedure to remove them from clogging up my ureters (on the left it had almost totally blocked off making my kidney swell abnormally and there was then risk of nephropathy) the pain got worse and worse but my doctor gave me oxycontin 5mg X 20 tablets which while working great, only last a few hours. She was very tightarsed with them because she reckoned I was bunging it on :slap: so thus I looked for alternatives and discovered the joys of Cold Water Extraction for codeine. They also gave me tramadol which eventually gave me shakes so that was scaring me but she thought I was just saying that to get more oxy again *insane with rage*. So with all three I tried to mix up my doses to avoid as much tolerance and addictive potential as possible. It helped it but didn't stop either. At the height of my codeine use I was using a full 72 box of nurofen plus PER DOSE which is around 900mgs codeine (I would lose a little in the process). I was having extreme constipation but it didn't stop my appetite which made it worse. And I shaft codeine to get the best out of it. All for the pain. There were times I went to parties and took my supplies and an old drink bottle full of codeine water. I wouldn't have been able to socialise much otherwise. Yet she still wouldn't give me more oxy. I got oxycontins 10mgs around Christmas and it was the best present but they still didn't cut the pain as much so I was still using tramadol over the top of that. My house went to shit while I was so sick (chronic infections) and could barely take care of myself. PLUS I'm in a wheelchair so everything's harder than usual anyway as well as I didn't have any flatmates from christmas onwards. And she thought I was bunging it on to get a bit more oxycontin. I drove myself to the local ER sometime in November on Saturday night just to get a shot of morphine which they thankfully gave me. I drove home 3 hours later even though you're supposed to wait 4hrs. Bunging it on. Whoever thought it would be a good idea to give that shit to a sickly 90year old man needs to have their head read and arse thrown into jail.

    Threat of Nuclear War

Anyone here heard of Baba Vanga? Personally I'm of the belief that there are a few people who are very sensitive to the invisible/immaterial world and in however way they are able to see/hear/feel/know things the rest of us couldn't possibly. Obviously I'm talking about psychics, mediums, prophets etc. I believe most psychics are full of shit and are just out to make a quick buck by preying on the weak or those in need of spiritual comfort, but I believe that there are a very few who are the real deal. As for this lady, Baba Vanga, I personally think it's a mixed-bag of the truths she has seen and shameless propaganda inserted by the powerful government heads she sometimes worked for. Some of it is some scary MF-ing shit for sure. I'll just copy-paste the following from somewhere else on the 'net to give you a good idea. Baba Vanga (Vangelia) Pandeva was born on January 31st, 1911 she predicted her own date of death (died 12 years ago) 11 august 1996. and so far this has come true: freaky.. 1. Vanga's most shocking prediction include: "At the turn of the century, in August of 1999 or 2000, Kursk will be covered with water, and the whole world will be weeping over it." (1980) - The prediction did not make any sense back then. Sadly, twenty years on, it did make a lot of sense, when a Russian nuclear submarine sunk in an accident in August of 2000. The submarine was named Kursk. Kursk - the city (after which the submarine was named), could by no means have been covered with water (probably that's why her prediction seemed so unrealistic at first). 2. "Horror, horror! The American brethren will fall after being attacked by the steel birds. The wolves will be howling in a bush, and innocent blood will be gushing."(1989) - Happened as predicted. The World Trade Center Towers in New York collapsed following terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. The WTC Towers were dubbed "Twins" or Brothers. The terrorists drove passenger planes - "the steel birds" - into the towers. "The bush" obviously relates to the surname of the current U.S. president. Here is Vanga's roadmap for the future: 2008: Assassination attempts on four heads of state. (One such attempt may relate to the strange John the Baptist Day "suicide" at Ben-Gurion Airport, endangering French president Nicolas Sarkozy.) Conflict in Indonesia helps cause a new World War. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleea st/israel/2194374/Nicolas -Sarkozy-assassination-sc are-Mystery-over-suicide- policeman.html 2010: A new World War begins in November. Escalation leads to use of chemical and nuclear weapons. 2011: Pretty grim. For those having the stomach for it, further information at http://www.shout.net/~bigred/Vanga.html ETA: I forgot to say the reason I mentioned this woman is because if you follow the links for her future predictions, there is stuff about Russia becoming a world power.

    Preparing San Pedro....

Unfortunately I have a very bad stomach for swallowing things that taste revolting, so when I require large amounts of extracted codeine for pain, I have to shaft it I fear also when I have perfected my cactus extraction for my friend in Argentina (yes I really will be visiting with her family in Rosario, Argentina next year), I'm going to have to shaft the juice Same will inevitably true for a dmt brew without need for the MAOI component.

This applies to t. peruvianus as well as pachanoi? On behalf of other noobs, thank you for the detail Sorry to ask such a noob question, but I've searched all over this site and searched a lot of others and I swear my brain must be having an off day because I just can't seem to find exactly what I'm after. I have a t. peruvianus cutting 300x60mm long and wish to prepare it for my cat's ingestion.

Give us druggies not drunks, say Valley police

And they're incredibly useful when I have a big dose of codeine or oxycodone for pain. One Avil or Avomine (avomine has promethazine theoclate) 15-30mins before a large dose and you won't get nauseous, wont get itchy, and it will potentiate the opiates enough that you don't need quite as much of the codeine or oxy. Plus they're awesome for hangover queasies LOL.

The case of the missing Loph...

I feel your pain! I bought my first T. peruvianus about two months ago and one morning I couldn't find it anywhere. The pot was there, no soil/sand looked dislodged and the pot was in the exact same position. Looked around everywhere all over the yard so I figured some nutter must have nicked it! I sometimes speak too freely in my back verandah but my neighbours have never reported me to police for noise or anything, and I've had some pretty wild drug-fuelled parties for my cat and her friends. I couldn't understand why they'd pick now to steal anything from me. THEN I caught a glimpse of something weird looking; it was the mangled remains of my small cactus... with dog chews all over it. Flatmate's dog had eaten it the little bastard! I thought he'd totally gone to town on it so we were really worried if he was going to start tripping face on it, being only a puppy. Then I saw another bit and realised the first piece was the rooted section, but the top piece wasn't quite as gnawed on though the pup must have yanked out the spines one at a time, must've been pretty funny to watch. Naturally we called the vet to ask if there was anything to look out for - him rolling around on the ground seeing gnomes and goblins and light trails etc - but she said he should be ok and that we should be more worried about him eating a spine by accident. Didn't even think about that aspect duuuurrh. Luckily he's a staffordshire bullie X cattle dog so he's got an iron stomach. Just now today have I received my next p torch so hopefully this one will remain uneaten by the damn dog. Obviously it's going to be put much high out of his reach...
  25. You're doing it wrong. You're supposed to know of de Sade and think he's a pervert, then you watch Quills (a Hollywood version) and think he's an awesomely bitchy horndog, then you read this article and wonder why it says in there something about de Sade writing about using a telephone. Hi, first post Edit: Oh shi- I didn't realise how old this thread was! Sorry again
