  1. It's okay for the US to go against what they preach, it's for the good of the people isn't it

How about when the main US soldier briefed the world a few days back, about how they would achieve goals,

I expected something along the lines of "stealth, intelligence..." etc...but was a bit of a laugh when he said "by shock....and extreme force" it's like the school yard bully.

  2. hi all,

just a quick question on the war, i know there are already some threads on it, sorry if it's been answered

I heard little johnny say that this war was "not illegal"

well killing people is illegal but that's another story...

Going against the UN, and declaring war before the deadline surely has to be illegal

    can anyone help me out?

    :)

  4. not sure how large you are talking, but the biggest softdrink bottle you can find might be okay. Have never tried it, but it looks like it would prevent breakage.

What those long cardboard tubes? suppose the plant would have to be quite columnar, but it may work

  5. hey,

Saw a program the other week, people in the outback, and to cook, they used a bush chilli.

Supposed to be quite hot, and by the looks of it, small fruits.

I've looked for the species via search engine, but just come up with recipes.

Has anyone heard of the bush chilli?

  6. DL,

Have little knowledge on bonsai aswell, but saw a short section on the TV a while back.

Seems like it is important to get clipping right, to form series of main branches, and continuing to do this.

Root pruning is done only every so often. I guess the first stages (if from seed) will be important to keep an eye on them, but after main branches are established, less attention may be required.

Is this right any of you bonsai people?

hope it's along the right lines

  7. Aus. is a beautiful place.

There are a few americans living in oz at the moment i think?, i know there are some at the EA boards.

on the note of immagration...with howards head floating in bush's excraments... i doub't you won't be allowed into oz. I know little about the immagration status, but oz an US seem to be "bonded" at the moment

on the brighter note...lovely place, lots of friendly faces :)
