    but really, it's not that hard to read a few pages from a good source about the basic facts about the nazi party.  like.. this is pretty simplistic but the first two words on the Nazism wiki page are 'national socialism'

    the word Nazi is a german abbreviation for National Socialism.

     

    It's pretty funny how anarchism is generally thought to be aligned with the left, socialism etc.  Socialism & anarchism are pretty much the literal antithesis of each other.  anarchism is almost actually like a vision of a right wing utopia, zero government, individual liberty & voluntary association.

    Generally speaking the far left believe in larger, more powerful, stricter government while the right believe in smaller, less powerful government with an emphasis on individual liberty.  If fascism belongs on any end of that spectrum it is most certainly on the left.  Most people nowadays who preach about evil fascists have next to no idea what they are actually talking about.

    why do people uproot their plants before they have even sold it? just to take a photo.  annoys the shit out of me when people do that, i will never buy a plant if it's soil-less in the photo, who knows how long it's going to be sitting around with it's roots desiccating & then sit in the post too.  if you're going to post bare root plants, up-root it just before posting.. sheesh

    Im not in anyway down playing the seriousness of sexual abuse, I have first hand experience of being a victim at a very young age, I have a bit of perspective on it..  I'm just a bit confused.. You really think all that darkness you're talking about in your mother & her generation or whatever is all because a bunch of Actors sucked a few dicks to get a job?  That's kind of weird logic.  I'm not saying it's not fucked up but you really think that & it kinda keeps you up at night? 

     

    I have to keep giving these disclaimers.. It's all completely fucked up.. But where I come from this dodgyness in Hollywood has never been even a slight secret.. It's really messed up.. But so is 90% of everything humans do.. If I was going to be as worried as you about it id have been dead from stress related disease a long time ago.  This stuff is one of the biggest trending topics in the world right now.. In 'the media', social media, just everywhere.. It's trendy to buy into this mass hysteria right now.. It's good these predators are being called out but why weren't all these outraged people so outraged & hysterical before it was trendy?

    Btw my old boss was very high status in the Australian media. He used to have parties that Don Burke went to, I even planted a few tress that were gifts from Don Burke.  My boss used to talk about what a disgusting dodgy piece of shit he was, that he would always be making fucked up inappropriate sexual jokes to the ladies etc 

    i definitely don't doubt the allegations made on him are true

    I agree with anodyne. What's with all the Jim Carey hate? The dude seems alright to me. I don't know anything about him killing his girlfriend though.

It's dodgy as fuck & there's a lot of executives that abuse their power in perverted ways. It's never been a secret so why weren't people this outraged for the last 100 years? Is your mind boggling & you're worrying about it because the media has now decided that's what they're going to tell you need to worry about?

    i was brought up very much on the fringes of society being taught to continually question the official narrative.  Thankfully my parents were not total crackpots though..

     

    Having had that perspective it seems to me that a problem suffered by many people who are brought up within the mainstream, being taught not to question the 'official narrative' is that when, in adulthood, they have some revelation about the falsity of the narrative they have been led to take for granted, with their trust in the predominant cultural world view deeply undermined, they can then tend to become polarized & react in a somewhat extreme fashion & often will then believe all sorts absolute nonsense that comes their way, as long as it is anywhere outside the 'official narrative.'

    the problem is also that if you are brought up in that way, it is sort of a given that you were most likely not necessarily taught adequate skills for determining what is worthwhile information & that coupled with a deeply undermined trust for the cultural narrative & the figures of authority (parents teachers etc) you always trusted to take care of your wellbeing, it can be a recipe for a lot of reactionary silliness..

     

    it is extremely important to not simply trust any kind of narrative that anyone is selling you..  we need to equip ourselves with the appropriate intellectual resources to determine for ourselves what is trustworthy information..  but it's also super important not to forget, if you open your mind too much your brain will fall out.

    Honestly I just glanced at the homepage..  I find it really off, the way  sensationalist click-bait media feeds off of & in turn feeds people's hysteria & paranoia.. The articles may be based on real stories.. Just like most articles on more mainstream news websites.. They all use click bait psychology to draw people in.. This site, at a glance just seems to do that in a rather overt way.. 

     

    I get it but that kind of stuff is s pet peeve of mine
