What did you do in your sacred garden today?
Pedro99 replied to theuserformallyknownasd00d's topic in Ethnobotany
Potted up some kat seedlings, mouth watering moved these ones from straight perlite into tight pots to hopefully prevent them from rotting when the next prolonged rainfall hits didn't do anything to this one, it's climbing my mulberry tree.. it's been getting pumped by aphid farming ants for months Angle of the sun has changed a lot over the past week and was smashing this one, so moved to a much shadier spot under some palms Staked all these courtii as they were hanging real low.. not sure when to try to remove the stake in the future.. hard to see them, i need to do some weeding Fallen soldier, rotted from all the rain I think this needs a re pot. about 1.2m and 4 pups. It's the strongest grower I have. A peruv sent from kojonup gf got me this myrtle, up potted the other day. my favourite smell in the world tbh Some young midjim berry bushes moved this black caapi to the base of this tree to give it something to climb my back hurts -
Pretty decent trip .. Half the ones I saw this morn were black gilled and the other white Seemed to be stronger staining reaction from the white. Also had trouble with staining from older specimens that still must be cubes.

Went looking this arv in the same spot I found bulk pans and there was nothing. Not a single active anywhere. I think I may have stumbled onto somebody else's spot.

A lot of the pans I found were black because they were lower than one that had dropped spores on them. There is blue text in the reply box (on mobile) that says "click to choose files" you click that and them navigate to the photo you want to upload, good luck.

Think you're right mate I ended up throwing 5 or so that had fibrous stems just like you said. I snapped the stem and left for 10-15mins to make sure. The actives turned blue almost black at the snap point. I couldn't believe how many there were and so many more there still!

Thanks Zonad! Yeh one big and two small cubes were hiding in some knee deep grass. There were also some old melted looking ones that I left alone. I'll attach a pic to show the cubes but I'm not sure if it's dumb to do so. Got a lot more pans than are in the pic, it is unreal.

Appreciate any help! Apologies if they're out of order but there are two different mushrooms here and I'm guessing one is just an immature form of the same species?

Got a free day tomorrow, looks like it'll be coming down still. I know it's ideal to wait a bit of sun but is it worth going out in the rain?

Hi guys, I may have gotten a bit out of my depth and gotten a variegated cut. It's small and pretty much completely yellow. Because of this I imagine it has to be grafted or will probably die? I've only ever grafted onto Peres, so am a tad worried I'll fuck it up, and on a vari'd piece. The options I have for stock are some short PC, maybe 10-15 CM, 60 CM psycho0 and a Peruvianus about a metre. The Peruv currently has 3 brand new pups popping at the moment, and as its my only one I'd kinda like to leave it be. Can anyone provide some suggestions please? If there is a good grafting stock recommended I will post up in the wanted section and hope I can grab one. Thanks.

This isn't quite a "wild" find or a magical one (at least in one sense) , but thought it was pretty interesting! Apparently it's immature birds nest fungi (correct me if I'm wrong) growing in a tricho pot in the garden. Been keeping a close eye out to see them open up. The pictures of them I looked up were amazing! Edit: these little guys popped up in a peres pot too

So 4 out of the 5 seem to have taken which is awesome! The one that didn't, the stocks core sucked right down into a concave shape. Any idea why this would happen or how to predict/avoid it in the future? Also any ideas on what to do with the slab that failed? I have no more stock other than pere. Should I chop it up tiny and graft to those? Seems a waste to chuck it out. Thanks in advance
