hey @sagiXsagi I double checked my dates and I got it wrong. It flowered in June and again in August. This seed would be from the august flowers so only 4 weeks. Oops

@withdrawl clinic I was so excited when I first saw the buds forming. Double excited when the flowers opened up. I’ll be triple excited once it sets seed.

I’ve seen talk of using cut up burlap sack to air layer cacti but don’t know the results. The shade cloth def has potential. I’m gonna test it on some scrap trichos.

That’s interesting. I wonder if you can wrap strips of shade cloth horizontally up the column to make rooted cuts...before they’re even cut. Got me thinking.

Yeah @ZooLthis is mine. I’ve grown pere for about 5 years and have never seen it flower until now.
a friend of mine is flowering now also. I guess it not as rare as we think.

hey @Humboldt no particular voodoo here. Just the right condition I’m guessing. This an old mother plant of mine that is very woody, gets loads of sun and the only water it gets is when it rains.
