Share your dreams (the sleeping kind, not the "I want a pony" kind)
Enjaytee replied to gtarman's topic in Chill Space
Last night I had the strangest dream... I sailed away to China in a little rowboat to find ya. No but seriously I did have a dream last night that I was piloting a helicopter to find and pick cubensis. Shit was epic. I consider myself to have eagle vision when it comes to spotting shrooms so the helicopter just amplified that. Got me inspired and thinking that a drone setup with a basket and some manoeuvrable scissors attached to a robotic arm would be a game changer in terms of foraging. If only... -
New members asking for things they shouldn't
Enjaytee replied to Dozer's topic in Site & Forum Matters
I thought it was just me having these feelings. Had a random new member pm me yesterday asking for illegal stuff which made me uncomfortable, I politely moved them along. Noticing a lot of new members here and in fb also. Not sure why there is a surge of new members but I dont think I like It. Is there a new psychedelic doco on Netflix or something else that is causing this influx? -

Could it also be water content? Have they been well watered during this heat?My bridgesii seem to be more susceptible to sunburn (I rarely water my bridgesii coz they get those gross black spots easy) whereas my pachanoi and perus guzzle water and handle sun like champs. I know if us humans are in the sun and not drinking enough water we wig the fuck out also. Just a thought.

What did you do in your sacred garden today?
Enjaytee replied to theuserformallyknownasd00d's topic in Ethnobotany
@Caster sounds like it’s too hot and humid in the greenhouse for khat. I grow mine in lots of sun and no green house. I’m in a sub tropical climate. -

Lots of potting up this week. Mainly cacti and psychotria. Had a lawn mower accident a few days before Xmas which fucked my ankle and put a dent in my garden game. Can’t stop me though. I hobbled on with crutches and got some shit done. I’m on the mend now. Leaving town for a few days so last minute checks on plants. I tend to get a bit of separation anxiety when i leave my plants but I’ve done my best to make sure they are self sufficient. Ie: water trays, feed, mulch, a few pep talks. Hang in there ya bastards! Don’t like leaving my garden but love coming back to see the new growth. -
Good ozzie films retrospective review from a greek cinephile

Snowtown is a good film. Based on a series of murders in south Australia. I won’t say much except that i believe it is worthy of a watch. -

Boo indeed. Had stock yesterdee, checked this morning... gone! What a bummer. I spoke with a guy called Alberto this morning, the Chilean vendor on ebay, and requested he send my seeds in a plain non discript package. He’s also throwing in a bunch of extra seed for me. Eagerly waiting... -

Ok, so who bought up all the latua pubiflora seeds from chile flora? It says they are out of stock, coincidence? Maybe. I demand you share some seeds with me! -

@MountainGoat I’ll admit it was a lazy seed purchase. Searched ebay, hit buy it now, boom! they’re coming. I’ll order some from chileflora as a back up plan. I’ll also read up on those other species mentioned. Thanks -
Well said @Darklight! and @niggles those pictures are fucking epic mate! Onyas!

Thanks for your condolences @Infinity. I’ve been through a range of emotions since the disappointing discovery. I will try a bunch of different methods with my next batch of seeds. Determined to make this plant my bitch. I may even inoculate with shaman semen just to deepen the connection between man and plant and thus lock her down well and truly... maybe. Anyway I’m not giving up on this plant. Let’s hope my seeds make it through customs. -

Soooo I’m pretty bummed out saying this, it turns out my “latua Publiflora” is not at all what it should be. It seems a stray seed had made it into my seedling tray. Should have figured as much being that it was the only seed to sprout. Fucking gutted. Moving on... I think I’ll give up on that batch of seed as the person I received them from said they’d not had any germinate either. Found more L.pubiflora seed on eBay last night and have ordered some more. Hope to have better luck this time. Ive stopped buying seed internationally coz I’m sick of customs snatching up my shit but I want this plant desperately so I’m taking the chance. here’s the link for the seed. For anyone interested. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com.au%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F274023804078 -
Nangs: A guilty pleasure
Enjaytee replied to Enjaytee's topic in Creativity, Spirituality & Philosophy
Sounds horrific @waterboy 2.0 i like the direction this thread is going. A few stories to remind everyone of the danger that can happen when indulging. I don’t want my lil write up to come across as a “hey everybody nangs are safe as, so fkkn cut loose on em” type thing. Too much of a good thing can be... well, bad. -

Yeah the airy bones sound troubling for sure. I guess with lighter bones you could move a bit quicker and thus pull off some even more daring nos bottle heists. I dunno, trying to find the positives but scrapping the barrel here. Live n learn
