Thanks so much! I definitely wont let it discourage me, i've reviewed my methods and will do whatever it takes on my next attempt. I wasn't too concerned with the speed of growth, definitely found the difference interesting though. Not too sure why i keep the foil on out of the PC! Guess it's handy to label them :D (The jars have polyfil filters too) For the KS, i have straw mulch on compost in the back of the garden. Once i had enough spawn going i plan on transferring to that and let them pop up in their own time I now have a colonised bag of straw which the oysters should be popping out of any day now! I'm more than happy to send you some KS spawn I'm sure i can spare a bit I have a successful jar in the fridge i got from a friend.

I would love to get my hands on some seeds again! I currently have a rhizome in a pot... still yet to see any growth but it looks healthy? Definitely one of my favourite plants! There's one local to me with warnings all over it when its seed is dropping! Heres a link to the abstract (paper behind paywall): https://researchoutput.csu.edu.au/en/publications/substantial-resource-reallocation-during-germination-of-araucaria

Does street lighting affect flowering.

I asked a similar question about moonlight effecting plant growth (last year?) I wonder if street lights would affect mushroom fruiting too... -

Thats great news! My final lot of seeds were hot water treated and have been in soil for just under a month at this point. Here's hoping

I'm not a huge fan of cannabis or tobacco but quite enjoy the act of smoking (under very specific circumstances) I've been wondering if mapacho is a viable option? Something to pass around with friends and enter a slightly altered state of consciousness. I understand the negative side effects and have heard many shamans talk about being "punished" so to speak if you abuse the plant and i understand that. Has anyone else been in a similar position?

Great grower maybe sage?????

How to slow Trichocereus growth indoors during summer?
TheMooseZeus replied to swim's topic in Cacti & Succulents
Hey! I may be wrong but a sort of bonsai style root trimming might be the answer! I'd get a second opinion. Hammondville is a handful of trains tops away from me though im not sure of my movements in the coming months -
Hey all! I'm after a couple of second hand books. the first being Terence Mckennas magic mushroom growing guide and the other being a translation of the I ching. In terms of the latter i hear there are a few translations. Is any particular preferred? Look forward to hearing back Look after your selves everyone
