  1. Cold turkey for me. Though I find the definition of quiting not a perfect title to sit under. While I won’t go buy smokes etc, on the odd occasion. So far maybe once a year, I’ve had a smoke with a mate etc. every time I get to the end and go.... fuck that’s shit.

Had and a few mates try quiting several times using champix. Heard one screaming in his sleep once. I dunno, I’ve never tried any thing to help - I just did it cause I wanted to. And one of those mates that tried so many times finally did it (future pending) cold turkey - because he wanted to. Which I feel is the true underlying cause for people failing to quit - they simply don’t want to quit.

Shit I was like that once. You go out drinking and smoking. You enjoy yourself so why would you want to quit - therefore you won’t. But when you do, you will.

  2. Living in a lie stems from ones definition and scope of what their perceiving as the lie. I mean, shits real isn't it? I can touch it feel it see it sense it. But only on this frequency we vibe on.

Its just another create awareness thing where some one who doesn't have a solution is trying their attempt at making a difference. Which is great... the more people who acknowledge lifes not really what we truely want inside, the greater the chance of one of those people to work something out - and make a difference.

All in time to be sabotaged and removed by people who have greater interest in the current model.

Like anything, people have both a part of the answer and a part of the problem. But so many people will never know.

  3. Yeah I wouldn't rely on it to heavily. I think the only thing really fail proof is gold/silver. Well fail proof other than some bastard stealing it.

Although if they decide to cut the power (pretend something else did it) I think 'currency' as such won't be the first thing to worry about. Maybe that scenario would shift people's thoughts to realise it's jut a game we play.

  4. I had no idea this plant had any use. As we are slowly deciding what to plant in our garden I always see them everywhere and go... hmm nah I want something useful. Silly me. Me thinks me am getting one this weekend to fill a spot I have saved for a flowering tree.

Are they all the same or are there different types of Magnolia grandiflora?

gonna have to do some reading tonight.

  5. Sausage festival? Or festering sausages? Or is it a festival of festering sausages? Just cause their green doesn't mean their festering lol. Welcome. The more the m.... larger the festivities?  Lol

  6. Yeah and Australia has already placed a law to tax bitcoin apparently. I remember when I first looked at it and thought... no way am I spending $80 on one coin... well. Aren't I stupid lol. Dad did a similar thing with Microsoft shares. Was gonna buy some back in 1990 but never did cause he couldn't justify the outlay. Lol oh well.

  7. It's just a wallet. Online and offline (cold storage) modes. Apparently it's a very simple but trusty wallet. But since I'm new to it all I'm just going by what I've read. One thing I read was to not use a wallet controlled by an exchange. But maybe that was more aimed at naughty people.

  8. Was more worried I'd pick a dodgy exchange to buy coins. Coinjar, yes that's one that popped up in my research. Sounds like a good place to start. And the keycard thing sounds interesting to have as a backup.

Pgp and encryption are already sonething I'm aware of but never had a use for so familiarising myself with that I guess goes hand in hand with anything sensitive online.

Cheers mate. I'll have a look at coinjar tonight.

  9. So I'm pretty late to the bitcoin bandwagon, but better late than never. I've been hesitating for ages to give it a whirl cause for reasons... mainly didn't understand how to start and unsure what use they'll have for me. But I bought some clothes for my partner from Alex Greys COSM shop and noticed they accepted bitcoins. Got me thinking that when I try to sell my creations online maybe it's worth having it as a payment option.

but before I even consider using it as a payment option, I still need to familiarise myself with it all.

So I got a wallet through mycelium after much reading. And now the next step is to load a few bucks and buy a few things and test it all out. My current hesitation is what exchange do I buy from. And how not to lose my cash to a scam.

Anyone familiar with the world of bitcoins? And can offer advise, and or a good exchange to start? I'll probably buy some and the market will crash and I'll lose out anyways lol.

    @Zedo how's it going?

    Rather open ended question lol.

Up and down, in and out, over and out but still kicking about?

Ive neglected my meditations since I bought my first house. And endless renos, landscaping and just in general 'hard work' has worn me thin. Although this last week due to the rain and my depression I actually did a few sits. It's almost like more is less sorta jive. First sit was quite visual and could feel every vibe through my body and could stop the voice in my head to focus more energy to each centre. Then each subsequent sit was of lesser effect - or prehaps just exhausted from life holding me down.

Like anything I know I'll/it'll get better with time but since 'living in the moment' has become more a norm for me now, some days just feel endless...
