Howdy. I got a few small cacti from Olive a few weeks back. Great guy. All great little specimens. But I've noticed at the base of one, and maybe just starting on another it's gone a deep purple. Stress?! We've had some shitty weather last 2 weeks. Thoughts/suggestions all loved heaps. Relating to the problem at hand even better.

Not that I have experience specifically with viridis, I'd say prune it back back keep some leaves. Maybe just take the older leaves.

So I get home today, and I'm sooooo annoyed. Damn stupid brush turkeys have ripped up my herb garden, my tomatoes, a rose, a HBWR and a few other things. Before I consider getting a compound bow... What can I do to deter these annoying birds without making the yard Alcatraz. The guy next door has a chicken wire fence around his vege patch but I've seen them get in before. So im more hoping to hear any ideas. Certain plants maybe? anyways if it continues I'll be feeding turkey to the cat lol

Im selling wooden signs for anyone who wants to add them to their garden. For the remainder of June, 10% of all profits from the sale of these signs will be donated to SAB to assist with the server cost. All signs are individually made, sanded and oiled with raw linseed oil. Signs can either have wooden sticks attached or just the sign itself. Signs are 200x65x12mm with 140mm sticks *Signs can be made different sizes* please ask and I'll try fit your request. Larger signs may attract additional cost - please ask.
