    Youtube vids

I don't know if anyone here buys into this sort of thing or not but skip to around 3 minutes, it's interesting to see a different perspective anyway.

Psilocybin Mushrooms of SE QLD, Australia

Thanks mate, I mainly just done it as an experiment to see if it would work. It works lol. I usually just collect the pats for the mycelium for the garden beds, I'm not too sure if it's the right mycelium(if there are different types) but the plants are loving it and on top of that they are getting fertilized from the pat breaking down. I'm looking forward to also taking some prints also good luck on your next patty hunting adventure.

Hey Etho, they sure are mate. With sprinkled straw all over them, there is a small colony growing under the pats now.

What did you do in your sacred garden today?

Hey Thunder, forgive me if you have explained this in a previous post. But what are you doing with the moss pots? Are they for cuttings needing to root, or are they for already rooted cuttings? They look awesome btw, is it sphagnum moss or something else completely?

Decided to take the day off because I am a bit run down with a fever and flu (thanks kids). Go out to water my garden this morning and low and behold. Too bad I'm actually sick.

    SEQ id please

Fair enough Berengar, I briefly forgot there would be many different species of poisonous mushroom, It's comforting to know that Panaeolus isn't a lethally toxic species (if identified correctly). Thank you again for all of your advice, absolute legend. PS, are there any books you can recommend for SEQ area mycology?

Thanks again guys, you're real life savers . Are there any poisonous Panaeolus species that grow in dung? (For curiosity sake) How much would one need to eat of a poisonous mushroom to die? One whole mushroom, or a cap or something even smaller still? I'll be stopping by the library this week to pick up a few myco books, so I can learn a bit before I ask next time Thanks again!

Hey again people, figured I would keep all my questions to the same thread. I have been mistakenly calling the veil a stipe in most of my descriptions, sorry about that folks. I found these today, I'm fairly sure they are pan cyans but just want to confirm, they have a convex head, dark gills, long stipe that bruises dark with no veil (Got it this time ) I also saw some of these things out and about too, the first one was massive. (maybe a 1/4 to 1/2 of a soccer ball) I thought it was a puff ball so I poked it but it was quite firm and fleshy. The second one I found had a star pattern in it.

Thank you R.C. I'll get the hang of meanie identification one day I probably picked all the antillarums and left all the meanies haha Thanks Jungle John, I have just tossed them as some of the caps started rotting today, I didn't fancy having a sniff so I guess I will get the scent if I'm lucky/unlucky next time.

Hey peeps, Went for a walk this arvo and found a heap of cubes, found a heap of these too, could they be pans? None of them stained blue or have a stipe, some are very large. All have quite a white top, very rounded, dark gills, some smaller ones are slightly tanned gold, but still no blue staining. Almost a red / brown stain which indicates they're no good yeah? Not sure whether to toss them or keep them, we got more than enough cubes which I'm comfortable IDing. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. PS. these pop up in my garden and front yard all the time after a good down pour, what could they be?
  12. + 1 for companion planting also. I know this won't help OP but if you get white fly regularly you should also plant some french marigolds around the garden, they hate the smell. I'm looking into how to attract fungas gnat and spidermite predators now, if anyone has some pointers, I'm all ears.

    Meet up: Brisbane

One of my spawn has a birthday party coming up this weekend so I won't be able to make this one unfortunately. I'll be at the next one if everything works out.

Any one like to go star gazing in SEQ? I've been thinking about getting the scope out once the nights start getting a bit cooler and longer. Would be awesome if someone on the forum had a filter kit to share. I'm thinking somewhere between Kilcoy and Blackbutt range should be dark enough but I'm open to suggestions. You can see some nebula in black and white if you get the conditions perfect.

New Federal Medical Cannabis Laws Introduced Today!

I just saw there is a consultation happening currently, it closes in just 2 days. http://www.tga.gov.au/consultation-invitation/consultation-proposed-amendments-poisons-standard-acms-and-accs-meeting-march-2016 The more people who submit the better. Edit: From the web page Does this public notice mean that substances derived from cannabis will definitely be down-scheduled? No. The scheduling decision will be made by a senior medical officer (in the capacity as a delegate of the Secretary of the Commonwealth Department of Health). Comments are being sought prior to a meeting of the Advisory Committee on Medicines Scheduling in March 2016. The Committee is made up of independent experts as well as state and territories representatives that provide advice to the scheduling delegate. The scheduling delegate will make an interim decision based on the comments made and the advice from the Committee.
