    tree tonic

Hello spudamore, How would anyone else wanting a sample go about obtaining one? Without more product info, Its hard to say what the best method of application would be! I would say mix at the reccomended ratio (Or Maybe just a tad weaker) and use as a foliar spray & a ground fert, Remember to just lightly wet the ground before you water with the fert. Good luck!

    Boomer Season 2009

Hey there htimsgw, First off Welcome to SAB 75kg? Geez Thats big for a gnome Is it his first time consuming? For a moderate experience I would say to have the whole six! But If he is not experienced then maybe have just 3 or 4 to get a feel for the effects and see how he goes, Then next time maybe he can work his way up to a larger dose! Remember two specimens of the same size can differ a great deal in potency, so drying & grinding them into a homogenous mix is a much better way to gauge potency. As for preservation, Dried Boomers can be mixed into melted chocolate and placed in molds or they can be kept in honey, Personally I find 2 heaped teaspoons of Dried Ground shrooms in each chocolate is a good place to start and is easy to dose! Nice Finds there anyway, I am on the NW Coast as well, Can i ask what city you found them in? I Hunt in the Burnie area and this is where most of the finds I post will be from. Its been a good start to the season here this year. I can feel it is going to get even better once some more rain kicks in! Cheers, MOJO.

    Catalyst

Tonight 8PM on ABC1. http://www.abc.net.au/catalyst/stories/2556839.htm Catalyst Space Storms: predicting the next big one - Insects on drugs: why locusts swarm - Bunnies bounce back: controlling the rise in rabbit numbers. Space Storms In 1859 a massive explosion on the sun launched a barrage of charged particles at earth, temporarily shutting down telegraph networks in Europe and the United States. If the same thing happened today computer and power networks as well as satellite communications around the globe could be devastated. Space storms occur when the Sun erupts, sending out a ball of plasma. Graham Phillips heads to the University of California Berkeley and Big Bear Solar Observatory to meet the extra terrestrial weathermen who show us how a space superstorm could occur and what effect it would have on our communication and energy networks. Party Locusts Plagues of swarming locusts are estimated to affect the livelihood of one in ten people on the planet. Swarms are a constant blight in northern Africa and can cause millions of dollars worth of damage in Australia. Until today nobody has known what causes the locusts to swarm. But now, a team of entomologists from Britain and Australia have found the key to the locusts marauding activity. First, increased food brings the locusts together, then as they rub up against each other, the locusts’ neural system releases serotonin, a compound known to induce happiness in humans. (The party drug ecstasy actually increases the level of serotonin in the brain giving a feeling of euphoria.) However, for these insects the effect of increased serotonin turns the normally shy locust into a party animal. But, once the party gets going and the locusts are on the march, it soon turns nasty. Scientists hope that this knowledge will help in controlling the locust pest. Jonica Newby discovers the truth about locusts and the grim demise for those of them that don’t really get into the swing of it. Rabbit Immunity Rabbits are one of Australia’s worst feral pests, wreaking havoc with agricultural land and destroying natural habitats for native animals. By the 1920’s there were estimated to be 10 billion rabbits munching away in Australia. The introduction of Myxomatosis in 1950 reduced the population by over 80%, but genetic resistance saw the rabbit fight back. When another virus, Calicivirus was accidentally released on to the Australian mainland in 1995 it seemed to be the answer, subsequently causing dramatic reductions in the rabbit population. Later, when scientists deliberately introduced the virus, they noticed that in some areas, especially the colder, wetter parts of Australia, rabbit numbers were not falling as fast as in the drier regions. Dr Maryanne Demasi discovers how rabbits are gaining immunity to Calicivirus from a kind of natural vaccination process and once more they’re on the increase. Looks like its a good episode to catch!

Hi Floydian, It depends on how far advanced the pins are I guess. Are they tiny pins that are just breaking the surface or are they just small ones that havent opened their veils as yet? And also probably depends if we get any rain within the next week! But give them about a week and see how they are then! Where are you hunting mate, Still on the NW coast? I was going to go out this arvo to a certain Reserve with walking tracks in the burnie area. I wish I had of cos I went dirt biking instead, Fell off & got a bruised arse cheek! Cheers!

    MELBOURNE FINDS !!!!

Hi thomas dylan, "white with quite a tall stem and i'm not sure, but its bruising a dark colour...maybe blue? from what i've heard, that's essentially what i should be hoping for" This doesnt sound like a Sub at all, Does it have a ring around the stalk? What colour are the Gills? Just a guess, Does it look similar to these pics . This is Not a Sub and could be deadly if consumed. You mentioned the first fungi had an orange/caramel coloured cap? Subs have a similar colour cap and a pithy, Hollow, White to off white stem that both stain blue after picking or rough handling! This is just a quick point in the right direction, Please dont anyone consider consuming any fungi untill it is properly Identified by someone who knows what they are doing, Not just from pictures or the fact that a fungus Stains Blue, Or any other colour for that matter! Cheers.

    Medicine Men Go Wild

I have seen the 3 other episodes. My favorite was the 1st Episode when they visited the Bayaka Pygmies & tried helping that sick baby in the village & then took the Sapo with the old lady. I missed the second episode I think it was called "Worlds Of Pain", they went to the Thaipusam Festival in Kuala Lumpur, Would of been great to see! Third episode they stayed wih the Chukotka Tribe in North East Russia. A Great series all up, 5 Stars

Hi alkatrope, I take it you are referring to the subs in the first lot of pics? I agree some of those were a bit smaller than what would usually be taken. Altho these were more or less the most mature specimens in the patch and were consumed by 3 subjects the same day they were picked. To clear any confusion, The second lot of pics are from last year!

    Boomer Season 2009

Greetings mac, I hear that a hunt is scheduled in for around the end of the week. Maybe Some time can be spared to make a few prints I will make it known in this thread how it goes. Also, For a few of u that followed it last time, I am waiting for a certain man made outdoor "Patch" to start taking off again and Prints will most certainly then be made as last seasons prints got accidently destroyed. These things are FREAKS... See the pics! These were all some of the smaller average sized ones & most had not long lost their veils. Ps, I love the one shaped like a question mark in the last Pic
