Hi all I have 4 x Caapis that have been in pots for about 4-5 years and I am now moving ....but they have grown big roots out the bottom of the pot ...can I transplant them into bigger pots and get what roots I can out of the ground ....will they survive ? I also have 3 x1m high khats that I want to put in pots they are in the ground at the moment...any chance ? All help and experience would be appreciated ... I don't want to loose my baby's :-( Cheers

Just thought I'd post some pic's of this Khat I have had in a glass of water for five months over winter . As you can see it is still alive and has grown 4 leave over that time........... but still has no roots. Is this normal ? Your thoughts............................ Cheers G

Hi peeps I Wanted to find out the best way to take cuttings of catha (white,red,and narrow)I have tried to just put some in soil with no luck So hows it done? Best Soil/medium ? Time taken to root? Air layering ? Woodie bits or fresh tips? Etc etc etc Cheers people G

So you just cut one of the shots that are at the base and plant in catus mix? How long do they take to root? cheers

I germinated the seed buy pouring bolling water over them and leaving them in paper towel and water for 48hr the seeds had just started to crack and i planted them in soil and per/verm mix.They put there tap root out the pot (witch at fist I did not know because this is the first acacias i have planted from seed)4 days later I had a dig only to find that it was upside down have spun them now but don't hold much hope.Has any one else had this? or did I do something wrong? Cheers
