Hi all, Its been quite some time since I was on last (maybe even months) but a lot has happened (bad and good) which has kept me offline most of the time. But I'm back and looking to trade some pachanoi's (rooted), some monstrose cuttings (short clumping variety) and other assortments for some spore prints (for microscopy of course). Now the pach's are all quite large (one is two limbed and roughly 4-5 feet per limb, one has two 2 foot limbs and a recently cut limb and the other was a mother plant which has pups growing all over it, but all three are in about 30L pots) and would require a pick up as they weigh quite a bit (so sydney-siders or willing travellers only). One pach (the twin limbed 4-5 footer) is in a pot which strangely enough is also growing what I suspect is phalaris grass (?) and a definite madenii sapling about a foot tall (bonus). The monstrose cuttings (willing to part with two), on the other hand, can easily be posted. However I must warn you I haven't removed them yet so it'll be a case of waiting to callous or sending as a fresh cutting. I also have two 4m high madenii's which I planted years ago at my parents place and my father is adamant that they are coming down (which means plenty of bark) but thats in the pipelines. Last but not least I have a whole bunch of Psychotria carthaginensis sprouts which could be had too. Now the images I have are too large to upload as attachments so just PM me with an email and I will forward them on. Thanks All.

Thanks for the responses, exactly the info I needed. Cheers.

I'm not sure whether this is true or not but I recall reading somewhere that if you leave Khat potted for too long they form root balls. As such, when it comes to planting out their growth becomes limited. Could someone please confirm or deny this statement. Thanks in advance.

Never seen these little buggers before, just planted out the wattle and after this current rain these yellow things popped up. Sorry about the picture quality they were captured on my phone...

I'm looking for a place where I can at the least to obtain seeds and at best a plant of the legendary naga/bhut/bih jolokia chilli, also known as naga morich and a few other names, or the close relative the dorset naga. I,ve got quite a few chilli varieties growing and I need these babies if I truly want a collection worth mentioning... Cheers, DH

My narrow leaf is really on the move but simply refuses to grow towards the heavens. It simply slumps over in every direction, why is that and how can I get the bugger to conform to my ideals of trees growing up and not across, dammit???

This question just popped into my head... I always assumed the latex was white, however when in europe a few years ago, I observed a bunch of poppies with pink latex??? Is this normal? Or is it unusual? Thanks in advance...

How many leaves do most find accomodating as I seem to find no matter how much I chew I obtain no real effects???

Mine are going strong so far in SW Syd. with absolutely no attention, but who knows how long that will last, I try to give as little attention to my plants as possible as to aclimatize(?) them if they don't survive so be it, and try again. You gotta find that balance where you give them as little attention as possible and get a healthy plant, you would be surprised, I really haven't lost many...plants are pretty resilient life forms
