For some detailed information on Kava cultivars and chemotypes, this is a really good link. https://kavaguides.com/strains/

    Options For Potent Anti-Anxiety Botanical

I just bought 200g of Vanuatu kava from an online Australian retailer, it's supposed to be good waqa grade but I'll report back here either way, good or meh. Now that it's legal to commercially import it again I have hopes the quality will be good. I have bought a few lots from various backyard grey market sellers in the last few years, and it was weak each time. This seller has it for $179/kg which isn't cheap by any stretch, but the grey market was up to $200/kg or more and it was a total waste of money. Fingers crossed...been years since I've had a decent kava session!

Vaporizers are the way to go for cannabis dosing. You can titrate effects carefully and stop where you want to be. And much easier on your lungs.

Kava is almost harder to get than cannabis lately, at least for half decent grade anyway. And it's stupidly expensive now also. I have tried the OTC extracts in tablet form and they are useless. Anxiety is one of those things that you need to get to the root cause of so you can address it. Treatment is hit and miss. Mindfulness can be helpful to get through severe episodes, but as long as the root cause remains, it's not going away.

Cannabis Propaganda - A Friends Experience

Actually just heard some bad feedback about alternaleaf, although I can't verify if it's isolated or common... But I have heard AAC (Australian Access clinics) are good to deal with.

Cannabis Propaganda - A Friends Experience

To be honest, it sounds to me like she's be better off without those people in her life. But that's a pretty glib view of the situation and I sympathise deeply. Gosh, surely at 57 years of age, people would just let someone make decisions about their own life without interference... I would suggest she gets a consultation to acquire a script for legal medical cannabis and then tell them all to fuck off. There are many providers who will take care of the paperwork for a pretty small fee and it sounds like she would definitely qualify.

What is your least favourite plant?

Nandina domestica! Laziest lanscaping choice ever. Lantana, spent my youth hacking it down, im slightly allergic to it, the spiny hairs make me itch like crazy and go red. Privet.

    Kratom Withdrawals

Older more mature leaves > younger leaves. I dont know about how picking is done in places like indo and Thailand, Rev would know but hes banned i think... id assume because labour is so cheap in these countries it would be done by hand. There are various drying and processing methods to produce different end products, such as sun curing, but it shouldn't make any major difference to the strength. Removing the central vein and petiole makes a big difference to how fine you can get your powder, unless you want to grind with a mortar and pestle or something. Its much easier to whizz in something like a magic bullet then sift through a screen to remove any fibrous stuff, and repeat until you really get nothing but fibrous stems etc.

    The good vibes generator

There is no distinction at a quantum level, you cannot separate the observer from the observed. Modern science makes allowance for what Einstein dismissed as "spooky action at a distance".

    Caapi in a bubble cloner

Woody cuts of caapi tend to root better in a potting medium like coir with some hormone powder, but you need warm weather or it's doomed enterprise. Greener/thinner more pliable cuttings root up just fine, maybe even better, in a glass of water, and don't seem to be as reluctant in cooler weather. An aero cloner will definitely speed the process up if you feel like you want a new toy.

    Pronouncing 'pachanoi'

I've always been on the pack-annoy side. But at the end of the day, that's a relatively recent imposition of nomenclature. We should probably stop labelling our plants with species at all. Genus Trichocereus "name/clone/locality" is enough, but opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one...

    Brahmi, gotu kola

I can help you with brahmi. Gotu kola seems to be plagued with mis-id'ed specimens, mostly Hydrocotyle spp. Hydrocotyle/pennywort is the bane of my garden. It spreads by underground runners EVERYWHERE!!! It's edible, and tastes a little of dill apiole, so I live with it in case of the apocalypse.
