Yeah sorry man,whilst it is a nice offer it does seem a little reckless, given there are 'secret' ingredients. The Reason being is that you wouldnt know if the recipicant is on SSRI or MAOI medications and they wouldnt know if this mix contains any of the many herbs they should be avoiding. Not to mention general intolerance and the adverse reactions people can get to these things.

Nope. I'm just going of what they said, and now I'm going off what you've said. I would be fascinated in delving into this approach of propagating Acacias. I would not be surprised in the slightest, if the variations of cognata available commercially were all done by TC. Still trying to source some alpina seeds, I may have to collect a few myself. Anyone know when alpina are in seed?

Interesting, thanks for the input Torsten. I just recently recieved seeds from somebody up in Cairns, it seems now is the time it would be seeding if seeding at all. If its not fruiting for you I'm going to put two and two together and say theres not a chance any propagated south from you would ever set seed! Cuttings would be interesting to try, I'd be interested to see how ready it is to root without auxins. Its such a funky looking plant after all.

This plant, that I believed was endangered and only found in China. Seemingly impossible to source. Hey there everybody! Has anyone come across pereskiopsis seeds? I've never seen any available by vendors. Anywho I currently have no pereskiopsis and they really are a must given I'm growing quite a variety of cacti by seed at the moment and I'd like to practice grafting. If anyone has seeds I would be particularly interested but at this point cuttings/plants would be awesome! Kind regards, HY

Yeah I found this beautiful when I found it some time ago. Clasic a current affair, today tonight bullshit. I just wanted to touch on this topic, whitewind has mentioned something that has come across my mind too. Simply registering to an official - your plants both quantity and size, keeping a diary and catalog of maintenance like pruning and proper disposal of material. This means there is proof that these plants are not being harvested or misused. Although it's not much use talking about it given the likelihood of this ever developing is close to nil, but I can see merit in the idea.

Folias I agree, we're all so scared of death, and it shits me! Start celebrating it as a transition, don't morn it, death is as natural AND beautiful as birth. The true injustice is the prison system, the fact we can lock people away for the duration of their limited time here on earth.
