Aus - Federal Government announces tough new penalties in synthetic drugs blitz
-RC- replied to CLICKHEREx's topic in Legal Matters
^ Precisely -
So there are two different types(?) there, one with the curly/spiral pods, and the other more traditional I suppose. They are in SE QLD. So longifolia is one. Cheers I think I have at least another species(?) on the property as well.

Aus - Federal Government announces tough new penalties in synthetic drugs blitz
-RC- replied to CLICKHEREx's topic in Legal Matters
So lets make synthetic LSD illegal because we made LSD illegal even though it has no physical side effects... And as far as jumping of balconies, how many times have people done that shit when drunk?! C'mon, the hypocrisy is such now that my being gets so excited I don't know if I'm going to get an erection or shit my pants -
Autistic behaviours linked...pregnant women had 44 suspected hormone-disrupting chemicals
-RC- replied to Dreamwalker.'s topic in Chill Space
How long is a use by date on a vaccine? And whilst thiomersal may not be used for individual vaccines per se, there is no such guarantees on batches or lots of vaccines. Gotta preserve that bovine gelatine with something... The nature of vaccines is such that there needs to be some sort of poisoning agent (adjuvants) present to illicit the maximum immune response possible. Be it mercury or be it aluminium hydroxide, it's fucking poison. 1999 is not a very long time ago imo. -

Quite a limited amount of substances they were screening for there, and no mention of whether the children were vaccinated or not. Obviously mercury (thiomersal) being one of the most toxic substances known to man doesn't help with autism, particularly in boys, as testosterone actually potentises the effects of mercury on the human being (hence autism occurs more often in males); testosterone levels being very high in the young. Francesca Naish has written quite a bit on the topic of preconception health, and is well worth a look imo. https://www.greenmedicineinstitute.com/node/17 -
Mystery Creek for all of the Queenslanders out there. Some pretty confronting shit, with quite a few big name Aussies in the mix, and some profound cinematography. Good to see Aussie Indigenous peeps going big!

US - Does medical marijuana equal bad parenting?
-RC- replied to CLICKHEREx's topic in News & Notices
The only reasons I would equate cannabis use with better parenting than alcohol use are: - cannabis is WAAAAAYY less harmful to the user and those around them & - if a small child gets a hold of a six pack of bacardi breezers it could be lethal. If it gets its hands on a joint and maybe eats it or something not much is going to happen. Certainly not death. -

I would simply state that cannabis use, medicinal or not, equals better parenting than alcohol use. -
Whither democracy? Demonstrations outlawed in Victoria

I predict that I will soon feel embarrassment that I didn't even notice that -
Cannabis and the economic sense of a regulated market
-RC- replied to -RC-'s topic in News & Notices
State by state I reckon it is, and bear in mind this was the first MONTH's tax revenue, which would make it a conservative $24 mill per annum. -
It isn't rocket science, and it is BIG money. Let's just fuckin do it already http://rt.com/usa/colorado-marijuana-tax-pot-990/ 'Recreational marijuana sales in Colorado yielded over $2 million in taxes for the state in its first month of legal pot transactions, according to new figures.'

I'm sure I read recently about some sort of civil rights impingement by the Vic gov with another law last month or so. Pretty sure I said then I guarantee it will be swiftly followed by another, before Christmas I think I said, but I thought it would be in another state. Guess I can predict the future... and my next prediction is Orwellian use of technology for monitoring you, your family, and your habits INSIDE your own home. Welcome back to 1984 everyone. Smile for the cameras. -
I watched my bridgeys and paccy pup like motherfuckers, checked that my little peyote was still kicking.. then pulled out some grass and weeds. AND got excited... AND considered a relocation of my proposed cactus patch.. then got more excited.

An overnighter is always going to be a bit of a push for me at the moment, so I'm more inclined to chuck my vote in for a meet, even if I pop in to a camp for a bit.

New VIC laws give police powers to disperse protests and arrest people for breaching a move-on order
-RC- replied to Distracted's topic in News & Notices
Aha! Now. let's see what happens. QLD gets anti-civil liberties laws/blatant facism, and now VIC, whilst not technically the same, the result is the same. Namely, the cops can walk up to whoever they like for whatever they like and arrest them. Essentially an effort in both cases to reduce literal 'people-power'. "Get together for anything WE think might be bad for us, and you're gone" I wonder which state will be next, and I highly doubt it will be in more than a year's time, and I wonder how long it takes us as a nation to demand real change, or take it back. Scary shit. -
I have just been thinking about shrooms and the reptilian brain, so entertain me for a moment. I once had a pronounced serpent vision one night, sort of like an uncoiling if you will, and I now believe that it has a bit more of a message for me. Most of us have had some sort of fear-based experience with shrooms (generalisation I know, and I stand ready to be contradicted by the more hardened psychonauts out there) and I'm beginning to think that it is a response of the ego in concert with the reptilian brain (perhaps no revelation to anyone here) When you 'experience' ur-reality, or reality at large if you will, you are in it so to speak. The moment your ego becomes aware of this it initiates a response in the reptilian brain, i.e. fear. "Oh no, ego-death, consciousness has snuck past me somehow and I want to have my say back" The reason I bring this up is that I feel MOST of the economic/corporate decision making apparatus apparent in our world are based in/on the reptilian brain, as in "ME, MINE, NOW, FEAR, AGGRESSION, ATTACK, DEFEND, DOMINATE, ACQUIRE/POSSESS" If we are to somehow transcend this situation we need to understand that, although we are highly intelligent, our intelligence does not necessarily provide us solely with with the means of our salvation. Inner work, expansion of consciousness and awareness, knowledge of self/self mastery is ESSENTIAL to avoid further reptilian/primitive decision making continuing into the future. And honesty for fuck sake. When did honesty of vulnerability and ignorance become such a rare thing? "I don't know everything, and I am fairly easily hurt and impacted by the devastation and rape of our planet, because I am part of it, and it is part of me" Not that hard surely? Any pol-lie-tician who could bring their reptilian brain in to order enough to utter such a thing would have SOME of my respect... maybe

It's just a public service to let us know that meth is as dangerous as cannabis. Once I had too many cannabises, and I jumped out a window and went on a 6 day violent crime spree. I injected it of course, and I also lost my mind, and now I sell my body on the street for more cannabises... Or something like that. P.S Fuck you Sky News + 10
