Pachanoi would be better but look into impale grafting re pereskiopsis, you can cut the pere back like a spear to exspose vascular core and make a concave cut in the scion

I will let this grow as is now that it is growing roots, and in a few years I will use for grafting root stock if all goes well. Ordinarily I would graft something like that if I was trying to keep it.. Grafting is super easy, especially with things this size. give it a crack ;-)

Here's one (t.pachanoi)I found when retrieving some pots yesterday... I would have taken this off a root stock a year ago.. Or more. I'm always impressed when i see this, a tiny piece of plant surviving like that!

I've found tiny pups I've discarded root after a long time so it is possible, to increase chances keep warm and dry out of direct sun. Grafting will speed things up a great deal, even.if you root it it will take and eon to grow ;-)

Hey mate, well sucks you got crappy germs :-( I have had mostly great results, I sowed bogan x scop months ago with excellent germs, close enough to 100%. All the others I didn't put down until a few weeks ago, bogan x yowie close to 100℅ Yowie x whiora seems close to 100% And the yowie x bogan slightly less at around 70%, I am hoping for a few more to pop though as itbwas down on 2/6. Happy to send you more if you want another crack man?

This thread is currently over a 6 year period, can someone point me in the right direction for getting involved with bitcoin at this present moment? I'm not sure why you guys are certain its cold damage.. From the info given by obsidian it doesn't seem likely, ie they're in the same spot for 8 years with no problem and months since a frost... Plenty of trichocereus growers successfully grow with zone 9b winters... Both Dawson's and Field's gardens here in australia would be considered 9b winters????? Surely there is something else happening here..???
