Ok, same concept but images have been cut and re-arranged. If either of these are chosen I can redraw to a final design. If not, the idea can be used for future projects if needed. Cheers These are rough ideas, open for development

  6. When help gets hindered, its sad news once again,, yet, we were a penal colony, therefore still? get treated that way :-( when you're young you get told to grow up, act ur age,, but when we get to exercise our rights as an adult, we get treated like children. Backwards in the 'guise of "our best interest" (insert Suicidal Tendencies-Institutionalised lyrics here)....

    Upside's stuff..

Nah, no account on deviant art. I agree, acceptance is becoming quite widespread, I've done projects and had public pass by with positive feedback, even the lil old nannas are enjoying what we do lol Only a very select few sad people have nasty or plain old blind, repeat what they hear on the news negative comments, none of them original or critically constructive, and its mostly middle aged gronks! The funny thing is tho,, a lot of the writers who are now household names, were those bored kids with spray cans and an itch to create. Now they're talked about in social circles of middle and upper class. I chuckle when a mum asks if I've heard of Banksy.... there is so many national and international artists that burn my eyeballs, whether its just a visual feast or a politically well delivered msg, I'm hooked
  12. Hey there Ethnoheads :-) Here is a very, very small collection of my sketches and Graff pieces... Feel free to comment or criticise ;p Cheers

    Upside's stuff..

Haha,, many thanks I started drawing when I was quite young. Always loved seeing the Graff when we went up to the city as a kid. Started painting about age 14-15 when I was a skate rat. Then stopped for a few years later... Been back into it for the last 12 years or so. Now get paid for murals, Graff projects working with kids at risk, private work, sold canvas' etc... Drawing is great medicine for sure Ceres, i'll find some more pics to upload ;) I'm blown away by the skill of quite a few graffers these days,, and the sheer size of some pieces, covering sides of massive buildings, photo realism etc fucking awesome. Cheers

    Acacia Seed Swelling

Good stuff! I find soaking in hot water only without scarification works a treat. let us know their germination rates in a couple weeks. My a.acuminata are about 4 weeks old now. I sprouted in course sand and take away container. A mistake I feel, as now the roots are slowly getting tangled and they're still a bit young to transplant. Have more seed coming so I'm gonna sow them in individual tubes.

    Nexus scale infestation

Hi SallyD,, I don't have any psychotria, but some of my plants get scale frequently. I noticed that ants are farming them! Lil buggers.. when I can alleviate the ant problem, the scale is easier to deal with. I use Yates scale gun only when I have to. Its not that toxic and does a good job. A day or two after, I soak/spray my plants with a lot plain water to wash off any residue. And of course give it a month til any leaves are used. i also just squeeze the scale to kill them when its not an infestation.

Cheers Bogfrog. I love graffiti, so it kinda comes across as gangster I guess lol ;p I can redo the lettering, that's no problem. How about the pods around the flower? Are they too much also? Sometimes logos are better when they're really simple... appreciate the feedback :-)
