    Cheap Cacti

Hey! I also picked up a Spike cactus labelled "Trichocereus sp." from Bunnings. Looks just like that... identical. Anyone know what Trich species it is?

    Bridgesii Cuts

Hey kids! I'm on a quest for top quality strains of Trichocereus bridgesii to grow and dazzle my Gnomes. Not too greatly interested in crested or monstrose forms as much as clean columnar bridgesoid. Also open to offers of other quality Trich varieties. I'd prefer to buy cactus with roots where possible, however bare cuttings will also be happily considered. The more the merrier! I've PM'd a few traders to no avail, so I'm gonna sit back and wait a bit. I'm looking for a trade that will be worthwhile for both parties. Come on you Cactaceae people and PM me with some offers! Show me what our little green friends are all about. Cheers Simes p.s. this Corroborree rocks!

    spores

Gday ppl I am looking for spore prints of Ps. cubensis, Pan cyans etc for research purposes. I can't seem to find anywhere to easily and reliably purchase spore prints on the internet within Australia. Liveby's pm message box is full and after doing a search on Earthpod, it appears that people are waiting way too long to receive orders. If this is not the case, please correct me. If anyone is interested in selling spore prints, please contact me by pm or email. ([email protected]). Cheers Simon

    mushies in qld

What's the go with the mushies in the darling downs lately with all the rain... is it enough rain to make them grow? is it too cold in Toowoomba? I found some today in a cow shit paddock above a creek caps 1 - 3 cm. How long do Ps. Cubensis take to form a cap? Is it 24 hours, and does it form more in they day or in the night? How do you cultivate mushies that you've picked up complete with the turd intact and some of the decomposing grass under it? can you make them grow bigger at home by putting them outdoors in the day and bringing them in in the cold night? I'm new to cultivation. Cheers Cheers
