plants containing cannabinoids
Andy the Great Something replied to teonanacatl's topic in Ethnobotany
Cannabis breeding has certainly come a long way in the last 30-40 years. I certainly would be hesitant to discount the possible potential of the mutant strains. -

Have read reports that abc by itself produces an unremarkable high but was active, just not very. A cross was supposed to be the next step, but your right, never heard anything else about it after the initial hoopla. Still...... abc hash? I believe I recall reading that the strain was a forced mutation rather than anything natural. Something about giberelic acid soaked seeds or something. It's been a while since I looked into it. -

I believe I've researched this before and didn't find squat. Although, I do recall finding an interesting cannabis plant once that was quite novel called australian bastard cannabis that might still be worth a look see. http://www.cannabisculture.com/articles/1651.html http://www.hg420.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=250&cat=500 ...... could prolly grow that sucker at a police station and nobody would know better. -
There are a variety of ethnobotanical forums and the like out there, it just depends on what a person is looking for I guess. Among a few sellect others, the Corroboree is one of the better ones IMO. I occasionally check out the lycaeum, but it's a pretty unruley site. Entheogen.com has a pretty good archive. Ayahuasca.com the same. DMTworld..... blah. herbalsciencesinternational.com has some potential but hasn't sparked up just yet. Gosh yah know theirs a good book out there that used to be updated every year (I don't know if it still is) called the psychedelic resource list by Jon Hanna that has all the goods that I highly reccomend picking up. My earliest copy is from 2000 thats like 150 pages long just on resources. Vendors, email groups and internet sites, gardening/lighting, mushrooms, religious and professional groups, periodicals, seminars/gatherings, smart drugs, pharms, exc. exc. exc.

Tripping: How often is too often?
Andy the Great Something replied to Dirty Old Man's topic in Chill Space
Well, I've hit rock bottom a time or two......... crossed the realm of healthy use to the other side of the coin, wrong time, place and mindset.... or just plain taken the wrong turn and let things spiral out. I'd have to say though that some of my worst experiences, I have gained the most insite from......... theirs nothing like confronting your own darker side or the shit that you've shoved so far deep inside that you hoped/feared never to see again. I feal very fortunate that those times didn't become the death of me. In my experience we sometimes as people get so wrapped up in stuff that we can't see the forrest for the tree's. From those times I've gained a better appreciation for perspective and the subjective/objective. -

Sorry Torsten, thats all you man, I didn't imply anything. Actually I tend to think reguardless of what a person percieves as their reasons they ingest hallucinogens, they will end up schooling you one way or another...... wether you like it or not. Even if it's just showing you how a particular substance likes to be treated. That being said, I'm not opposed to having fun. I just think if you treat the occasions with the proper forethought and respect that theirs less chance of missteps and more to gain from it. -

I think people are bringing up some good points here. Perhaps the question of how often is not the right question. A person should maybe instead ask why they take the poison medicines in the first place. Is it to learn? Heal? Gain power or insite? Escape? Grow? Have fun? Use Vs Abuse The people who have been around the block a few times might tend to agree that once you've severly crushed the ego a few dozen times, it starts to loose it's luster and at that point, you either burn out or learn how to play around the edges. -
Thats interesting, I got the same spam @ my hotmail account...... makes me wonder. her in the U.S. they through out the ephedra ban they set in place a while back, though the only places I've found it for sale at a reasonable price again is online at the same place I buy my piracetam at. (1fast400)

Yeah, thats amazing work. You must be a left hander. I like the fluidity, it's like it just spills out of you. Keap it up. I know tattoo artists who would love to be able to ink like that. If your interested in trading some of your art, give me a PM. you can find some of my stuff in the chill space Gallery here. -
