Salvia ID Help?

enohpi-zeekim

Anyone have a clue about the type of salvia plant I have in the picture. It has a square stalk and leaves are about 5 inches long and 3-4 wide. Hollow stem. I think it's a rare one but not sure?

Leaf margins and veins lead me to believe it's not a sally d.

Sally will send roots out of the stems between nodes, kinda like in your other pic, but this plant is one of those dopplegangers I think.

Whats a dopleganger, will check. ..Apparently it's definite a salvia family, I saw the mother plant in flower, white and purple. Also the person who owns it told me its a salvia but didn't know what type and lady was very knowledgable on all other plants that were growing leading me to believe she was speaking from experience in years of gardening. I just keep checking around and there are a couple of slight variants in salvia Div. all of which are directly related but very small differences in the appearance but all same basic chemistry. One had a whiter vein in the leaf one at rare times being able to bear seed.
