Straw and horse manure bulk substrate

Trying out the pasteurised straw and horse poo substrate. Started it up with agar to grain, grain to bulk. Golden Oyster that is. There's a flush of white buttons tryin to make a break on the same type of substrate underneath. I broke my thermometer just after I started to pasteurise and I'm pretty sure I went over recommended temp. Not sure there's much to be done now but wait. Can't use hydrogen peroxide in a pasteurised substrate with horse manure and straw. Would defeat the good vibrational bacterial party going on. Oh well try and try some more!
